Very heavy, strong
I ordered the brushed Nickel and they are more beautiful than I thought they would be. Originally was going for the black, for shelves over a kitchen buffet, but all our fixtures are all brushed Nickel or brushed stainless steel. Very impressed with quality

I am making some open shelving for my kitchen and got these to be the brackets for them. They are wonderful looking and extremely heavy duty. I cannot wait to get these installed I think they will make the kitchen the star of the house when installed.

Antique Copper Brackets, designed for heavy-duty use and easy installation. Hardware included.
With these baroque style shelving brackets, I chose the antique copper color which I think is pretty. They come four to the package and include all screws and anchors for installation in different kinds of walls. Since I was installing the brackets using the 2 x 4 studs that are framing a hardboard wall, I used the screws without anchors. Installation for these brackets was simple using drill, bit, philips head screw driver, and straight edge. By first drilling pilot holes for the high-strength screws, the brackets were easy to install. Their dimensions are 5.9 x 4.17 x 1.73 inches.According to the manufacturer listing, these are heavy duty with a load capacity of up to 320 pounds per pair though recommended is 280 pounds for load bearing. The brackets are diecast high-grade alloy metal and life-long rust free.I was impressed by how heavy and sturdy the brackets feel. For my purposes they are way stronger than I need, but installed over an aquarium, I wanted brackets that could withstand the humidity without rusting. The first photo shows the different packets of hardware for walls, whether concrete or wood. It's convenient they also included an extra package of each of the types of hardware for backup. For a do-it-yourselfer these brackets have great vintage charm, and heavy-duty strength for all your DIY projects.

Effortless Elegance!
Everything about these shelf brackets are OUTSTANDING! The level of craftsmanship and design is remarkable. The scroll work is vintage in style and total room inspiring! The brushed nickel finish is a satin platinum in shade and is undeniably refined. The quality of these brackets is staggering; there is no worry of that these will hold up, quite substantial and weighty. These not only provide a magnificent aesthetic, they are sturdy and functional as well.

Beautiful, ornate brackets
These brackets are beautiful and very heavy. I have installed a ton of shelves in my house but we wanted to put some in the kitchen area so we were looking for some more decorative brackets that could still hold up some weight (pots, pans, cookbooks, etc.). These are rated for 370lbs per pair and I don't think we'll ever get close to that limit. I got these in the black finish and they look and feel very well made. Very decorative and gothic looking. That said, I do have a complaint. The brackets came with a ton of little screws and wall anchors. It boggles my mind that anyone would use wall anchors for shelves rated for well over 300 pounds. The brackets should absolutely be installed in studs ONLY. However, the screw holes were clearly designed for the smaller screws and not construction grade screws meant to hold weight. The counter sinks weren't quite large enough either. Since I had to use larger screws, the finish ended up getting scratched by the screw and the some of the threads may have been damaged going through the metal. It's not that big of a deal since the screw head covers it up, I just wish the manufacturer had considered this when designing the mounting holes. The holes on the top meant to secure the shelf itself were EVEN TINIER. The screws they supplied wouldn't hold a piece of lauan down. Again, I opted for larger screws since I was using a substantial piece of wood that had a slight warp to it. All told, I would recommend these brackets, but just know you might want to go to the hardware store with them and find some screws that both hold weight, looks nice, and fit as best as possible in the bracket holes.
