The rubber is pretty firm and the inside, where your heel rests, could be contoured a little better so your foot is not resting on a flat(ish) feeling rubber pad. The arch is a little high for me but maybe that's me? The stoopid shoes I am putting these into have sides that hit my ankle bone and either I get the heel up or toss the shoes. This works great. fact is now I know I could have gone 3/4 inch or maybe 1/2 inch and the lift certainly feels strange. Funny though becasue the small change in height feels and looks like a lot (from what I am seeing.) Who would have thought it? I end up being like 6'3! Just like Steve Harvey on TV!

I was very excited about this product to wear it before the concert night but it was totally disappointing! Even after cutting enough from the end and the edges, you can’t put your feet in the shoes or makes the shoes so uncomfortable! Returned it although I cut it! Hope I get refund

Well balanced..not too soft, not too hard and firm enough for confort!

These were just what I needed. I had a total hip replacement and my right leg is an inch longer than my left now. So I wear one of these in my left shoe and it's perfect. They are very comfortable stable and well made. And because they don't taper off right away it gives me a firm foundation and I feel safe and secure. I cut the end off of the right one and it works perfectly in my house slippers. Will buy again.

These insoles were firmer and higher quality than I was expecting. They are 11 and 1/8in long and 3.5 inches wide at the ball of the foot and 3 in wide at the heel. They fit inside my size 10 shoes with a tiny gap at the front and side. I do not think they would fit size 11 or 12 very well.They are just slightly less than 1 inch tall, perhaps .85 inches with compression. The main issue I have with these is that the insoles is thick too far forward, causing tension at the arch of the foot. I think the insole should only be thick for the heel part.So overall, the height is great, not too much, not too little, but these aren't that comfortable. It's fine for light walking or standing, but I wouldn't wear them for a full day of walking.Notably, they actually do fit inside a regular pair of Nike sneakers. And of course they fit inside boots easily.

I got them for a costume even where I needed to be a little taller. I was convinced to get these because I was worried a taller one might make me unstable. These were easy to cut to fit and I felt stable in them. I was able to put them in normal dress shoes, no problem.

I do not understand what kind of shoes these soles are meant for. I buy them to use with my work boots or hicking boots and because the soles are so thick your foot hardly fits, even with the deepest boots my ankle was half way out the shoe.Obviously these shoes will not fir on low profiles shoes such as tennis shoes or dress shoes. I am very disappointed with the product and will not be able to return it because you have to cut the sole to fit your shoe.Sadly it is not a good product
