I was a little skeptical buying this uv light water filter. But was amazed by the difference it made! I used in freshwater 5.6 gallon tank. It was kinda big for it but it fit! Was having an issue with alge bloom after only owning my tank with goldfish a month. I did realize that it could be the factors of over feeding and too much light. Even though we were only feeding a few flakes a day. Now we've gone to feeding every other day. Anyways, after using the uv light we noticed a difference within 4 hrs. The next day was way better. Within 2-3 days the water was clear. This pic is a week later. Crystal clear! Going to turn off and then back on in a week. Maintenance says to clean uv light but in don't think it opens up to wipe down. I would recommend.

My tank was cloudy and 100% green- you could not see even an inch deep! After 10 days, my tank is fully clear! The light did come broken, but the company promptly sent a replacement. I am sooooo happy I bought this product and 100% recommend!

I need to return the item it’s not working good

This works well and easy to install, no assembly. Instructions are clear. First video is First day with new rocks that caused cloudiness and other pics are a week later. Looks pretty good but still cloudy and was expecting it to clear quicker especially since I didn't have algae in my tank. A friend commented on the cloudiness today so not sure what I'm doing wrong. The rainfall didn't clear the tank well so I changed with the true. Maybe I need to put the filter sideways in bottom of tank? I also don't get the bubbles that others show so I'll have to try some other options but I have it on full power. It just spurts out bubbles every 7 seconds or so.

The light had broken on the way but as soon as I said I needed a replacement within a short time it was already here before I could even drop it off for the refund. Super happy and the replacement works great 👍🏻

I have one goldfish. He was originally an inch long. Over the past six years, I have increased the size of the tank as he has grown. I only had natural light. I recently upgraded to a 30 gallon tank and it had a light which I’ve never used a light before. I kept the light on all the time and then the entire tank turned green from algae. I purchased this and after two weeks and changing the regular filter once a week, I can say that my fish tank is completely clear. It works great! I now just use a lamp now and natural light.

The UV light was broken upon receipt but I told the company and they sent out a new one immediately. Great customer service! But the actual filter only worked a short while and quit. I have yet to find a really good HOB filter that meets my expectations, but I do expect them to work at least a year. Oh well.

This filter is doing a fantastic job and is easy to clean and put back into the tank!
