AVANTEK RB-1 Add-On Plug-In Receiver, 1300 Feet Range with 52 Chimes, Black

Paired easily with my transmitter and works like a charm. I was fortunate that I had saved the instructions from the original transmitter, as the receiver did not come with instructions on how to pair. Simply press the volume up button on the receiver until the red light blinks, then push the button on the transmitter. You will hear a tone from the receiver that tells you the pairing is complete. Another reviewer left a complaint that it was not waterproof, which is baffling because nowhere in the description does it claim to be waterproof. The TRANSMITTER is waterproof, however the receiver is not (since the receivers are intended to be used indoors). Overall, great product.

It does what its supposed to do. Please do note that many of the ring tones it comes with are comical at best. Animal sounds? It may just be me but I think those are ridiculous. It does have a normal doorbell sound so it works for me.

The system arrived on time. The door bell button transmitter and three remote repeater chimers were programmed and installed in a matter of a few minutes. I doesn't get any easier. There is a variety of tunes and sounds to select. The volume of sound is very good considering the small size of a receiver. I'm very pleased with the product.

I needed an additional receiver. This is the same model as my doorbell but there are no directions to connect to the system. I tried contacting but nothing

Works well in stand alone garage to let us know someone at front door. Easy to link if you have directions from base unit as no directions came withadd on.

Excellent range and volume when mounted as instructed indoors. Was concerned as house is constructed primarily with concrete & wrought iron, but chime is loud enough to be heard(when windows are open) even from the front gate. Very pleased.

Reliable and loud. Rings about 99.5% of the time and I get a lot of rings at my door. Amazon loves me...

This would have received five stars if it was not for not having instructions on how to pair it with the main device. To do so simply plug in your new receiver, press and hold the volume button, then go hit the doorbell. That is it. However there was no instructions on the box or inside. Lucky for me someone posted about it here.I bought the doorbell with 2 receivers and installed it without a problem. I loved it so much that I bought a third one so I could have it upstairs and have your receiver on every floor. The thing I like the most about it is the many different doorbells you can set. They advertise 52 which is correct but there are many of those I wouldn't ever set for mine such as a horse sound and other farm animals. There are several songs including Christmas carols which I set mine to music.

Works perfectly, very easy to install, I purchase an add on unit so I now have a bell on all three floors. Very helpful as I have poor hearing and could not hear the old single bell unless I was on the main floor.
