These were perfect. I have a pair of Salomon trail running shoes with these speed laces, and I want to put a set on my Adidas golf shoes. These worked perfectly. I did a quick and dirty tie-off at the top, which seems to work just fine. They came with toothpicks to push the laces through, which worked well. Based on my trail running shoes, I left about 4" of lace when they are tightened down.

So far it's working great, but install was a little challenging on my Salomons

Ehhh be prepared to do some work in your end to make these work. They say they come with “upholstery needle” (they sent a literal wooden toothpick) so using some supplies I had around the house I was able to make them work. However, as many of the other reviews say they do not grip well and will often loosen on their own. I knew this prior to purchase so I guess I can’t discredit too much. Overall, they function… not great but they do function.

They tore within the month.

Some of the parts are impossible to thread through.Good thing I had old parts because half of the parts are impossible that were provided.

Thicker than soloman lace

I was a good lace replacement for my Solomon trail shoes. Not as nice as the original but good enough.
