Steel cutting steel
I used this blade to cut a new safety guard for a meat slicer from a piece of stainless steel. The blade did a good job make the cuts, which were all straight line cuts. I'm not sure this blade would cut a curve in harder metals without damaging the teeth or overheating the blade. The blade was easy to put on my 14" handsaw and ran true with very little adjustment. It wasn't nearly as finicky as some of the blades I have. After I finished the cuts I inspected the blade. There was a small amount of wear which is to be expected as saw blades are a consumable item. This is a good metal cutting band saw blade.

Fits My Porter Cable Band Saw.
I'm using this saw blade to cut aluminum plate, and 12 ga. "cheap" stainless (The Magnetic kind) belt buckle blanks. The blade cuts nicely, and though it's My first metal blade for this saw, I have to say that it cuts every bit as good as My Milwaukee Portable Band saw.I find that running a block of paraffin wax into the blade before cutting aluminum keeps it from getting gunked up, and using a slight mist of "Kool Mist" helps keep the friction down on the steel.I'm liking being able to cut off small pieces of Pipe, tube, Bolt heads, etc. I never really used My Porter Cable band saw band saw Much, as I own a CNC, so I'm happy I found a new purpose for it. I don't know if it's meant for a 3/4" blade, but it does not seem to mind. The blade is wider than a normal wood one, so it resists twisting. I'm actually able to cut a straight line.As far as blades go, It's doing "The Thing". I don't have much other than My little 18v portable band saw to compare it to, but I'm happy with it, so I feel confident in saying that it's an OK blade for what it's intended to do!

Allows me to cut soft metal on my otherwise wood bandsaw
Sharp and ready to work. Fits my Rockwell 14" bandsaw, which normally takes a 9-1/2" blade.
