They will give your child endless years of fun and creativity!
These blocks are fabulous!!! They will give your child endless years of fun and creativity. My grandson is very young...not quite yet 3 years old...but he is already stacking the Keva planks creatively and brings them out to play with every day. He LOVES for me (his "Grammie"), his Uncle, his Papa, or ANY willing person to build more elaborate things for him, so it is a very fun together-activity. This is an investment "toy." It will not be put away with all the other "age specific" toys, or set aside because it has lost its initial appeal, as with so many things we spend our money on for our children and grandchildren. They are expensive, but if you pro-rate the years of play you will get from these blocks, they are worth every penny. My 27 year-old son kept saying he wishes he'd had these when he was a kid. It's okay, he builds with them NOW!!Imagination is becoming a lost entity with all the technology we have. Get your child away from TV screens, computer screens, iPad screens, and get their creative juices going. Buy them. You will not be sorry!

Possibilities Endless!
These maple blocks are of high quality with a good idea book. From there creativity takes over and the possibilities are endless. I'd recommend the maple blocks and a set of at least 200, if not more, as this expands the child's ability to use their imagination. I am an elementary teacher and they are a favorite choice for free time!

Highly recommended, wishing for a storage bag
The Keva Maple planks are fantastic. They are great for 2 years up to 102. Great for free thought, creative building and spatial learning. We purchased a set of 200 and realized that for multiple people to build simultaneously we needed more. Minus one star for the lack of storage bag provided. Our original set came with a sturdy canvas bag to store the planks; however, this set did not come with one and the original bag is too small to hold both sets of planks.

One of the best toys!
These are quality blocks and a quality toy to have for kids of any ages...and adults! The adults have just as much fun constructing things as the kids do. Both of my kids age 5 and 7 love these and can spend a lot of time building structures together. There are endless possibilities to what you can make, and I enjoy having a toy that they actually will play with that doesn't consist of lots of plastic, batteries and loud noises...and parts that break after a few uses.If these are taken care of they will last until the next generation, at least. I don't think that you can go wrong with these, and you may even come back for another set.

One of best toys- Get the 400- totally worth it!
My 2nd grader loves these- one of his favorite toys.200 or 400: I ended up returning the 200 from Amazon and getting a 400 at Walmart for better price than Amazon could offer at the time. I am so glad I got the 400 b/c he uses them all for sure.Maple or regular- I have only owned the maple but from reviews heard both were good but obviously Maple is a harder wood so will last pretty much forever. I am glad I got the maple since he loves these so much and also b/c he loves to destroy his buildings and I don't have to worry about them getting ruined or dented.Age and Type of Kid: I was afraid he would be to old but nope we pull them out almost daily. My child is a super smart and outside the box thinker who is working on embracing his Dyslexia and become a better reader. His talents outside of sports are math, science and building/creating things.Reasons he loves them1. No difficult instructions or reading involved.2. He loves to build.3. He is super creative and the possibilities are endless with these blocks4. Easy to get out and put away -I bought a nice open bin for his bookshelf so he can pour them out and scoop them back up easily when done.

Hours of endless fun
I ordered these after seeing my son use the pieces from his Jenga to construct whatever his imagination led him to. At first he was so-so on the idea Santa gave him "blocks". After seeing mom and dad create towers and marble tracks, he got the bug. He loves inventing contraptions and knocking them down only to create something else. Addicting for adults too. I have found it very relaxing. Pieces are smooth, uniform and beautifully made. Glad we got the maple over pine.

Great toy to let kids be creative and off the electronics!
I bought these for my son for Christmas. He loves building things and these let him be very creative. I had read a bunch of reviews and decided to get the Keva maple ones and a larger pack. The planks are nice and sturdy. I'm sure we'll get more as even 200 can get used pretty quickly while building towers. And I enjoy them just as much and my boys!

Aesthetically the best toy ever
This is a beautiful toy; it even makes a lovely sound as my young grandchildren play. We never tire of it, from building small towers for babies to kick and clatter to creating elaborate, imaginative habitats for little toy creatures and cars. We keep a bowl of maple planks in the living room because they are so pretty and compelling. They are my new favorite baby gift.
