This makes an ideal plinth for a bird bath at 62cm in height
I bought this hoping that I would be able to use it as a plinth for a bird bath as it is a decent height off the ground. The jardinière is 62cm height and the bowl is 40cm in width. It is made of plastic in 2 sections that just slot together making a secure fit. If you want to use it as a jardinière then you need to pierce holes in the marked positions on the top of the pedestal and the bowl for drainage. I didn't bother as I am using it as a plinth after putting a few stones in the bowl for stability. I had previously bought a 48cm outdoor plant saucer which fits nicely into the planter with some overhang. Once in position I filled the saucer with water and put a stone in the centre. It has definitely got the thumbs up from a variety of garden birds both large and small. It looks very smart and should last a lot longer than the plastic & ceramic bird baths I've had which cracked after 6 months !

Great satisfaction.
I picked this planter as a change from all my other short tubs and it has proved to be a most welcome addition to the garden. Very well made with an attractive shape and good colour and molding. The generous bowl will enable me to plant a goodly amount of my favourite red geraniums. Delivery and packaging were both excellent and price good for such a useful container.

They look fabulous
Each side of the door with an abundance of summer bedding plants....They look very expensive.....My husband said it looks like a stately home....yes, best I have bought because they are deep and the plants will thrive.lovely colour greenb

Great product
A great product,just what we were looking for. At present they are in our garden displaying our flowers. Very pleased with the prompt delivery,they arrived well in advance of due date. Good value for the money,well done.
