kathy ireland KI175003 Down Alternative Comforter, King, White

Now that I've had from July, and it's now Christmastime, I feel qualified to review this. I absolutely love it!! I have a long-haired black and brown and white Aussie whose fur gets everywhere and is difficult to remove because the fur is so fine, but using the fur wizard does a great job because of this weave. I ordered it in white to brighten a frequently used guest room/snoring room. I did a delicate wash in the machine after I let it soak for a while. I used a regular spin cycle. I only put it in the dryer long enough, about 20 minutes, to heat it thoroughly, (because I don't think my dryer does a good job on drying queen size comforters) then hung it over a clothes line in the basement. It dried beautifully. It is a lightweight comforter, so if you're looking for weight, this isn't the comforter for you. It wore very well and I'm looking forward to using it again come Springtime. This is a nice comforter and excellent price. By chance I was looking at this particular item/color on overstock and to my surprise when cross referencing amazon beat the price plus It was prime. It must not be a popular color because it was the only one that was a better price. I wanted a lighter weight comforter for summer and fall. It wasn't too hot during a/c weather, and so far it has kept me warm with windows open in early fall. It is not too heavy yet fairly warm considering the weight. The solid color side is smooth and soft as is the striped side. The striped side is kinda a sateen finish so it is a little slick, yet still very soft. That is what I think and I'd buy again if in the market next time.

I have these in multiple rooms of the house and plan to buy more. I have pets and I love that pet hair does not stick to them. They’re also lightweight and easy to wash.

I have pretty sensitive skin and am very wary of bedding. Not super soft but also not so scratchy that I can't use it. I have the King size to cover my Queen bed which I always size up. Great coverage. I feel like it's an all-season comforter. I currently live in NC where it is 75 degrees in the middle of October and this comforter works great. We have had a couple of cold nights and I had to double up. Fine.

Kathy Ireland Comforters are the best. They hold up. I had my last one for 5 years and just now being a new one. Washes up great, no shrinkage. This comforter keeps you warm in the winter and cool in the Summer. Highly Recommend!!!

this comforter was gorgeous when i first got it and fluffy but it became matted down quicker than any other comforter, and all kinds of random threads and loops got pulled up after just a month, it started to pull and the texture drove me crazy. I have two large dogs that like to go on my bed, as a disclaimer...but my new comforter from walmart has held up so much better, and it was only a bit more expensive. if you’re more gentle than me it’ll be fine unless you wash it a lot
