Mederma Advanced Scar Gel

This product is very thin and if you use too much it will leave a film in your skin that you can peel off, so you only need a tiny bit! It takes a long time to start to see the scars fade but they will fade over time. If the scars are older then it will take longer but if you are committed to using it every day then it will work. I have used it for scars on my legs and arms as well as some acne scars on my face and they are still there. but they are fading away like Marty McFly

Very happy with my purchase. Had an Upper Eyelid Lift done in October, so it's been a little more than 8 weeks. And not until I started using Mederma my incisions were barely healing. I had received a scar gel from my surgeon's head nurse but there was hardly any healing happening. This stuff works very well. I was applying a little bit every morning and evening for 6 weeks, and my incisions are now barely visible, very happy with this product.

I've used Mederma in the past and it works great for new scars. I've noticed a difference already, I've been applying at least once a day, more if I can remember, for a month now, but it takes time, I'll keep using until the tube is gone.

My little guy was bitten by a dog. He had stitches on his eye and cheek. There’s a small scar on his cheek that may always be there but the scars on his eyelid are pretty much gone. I’ll continue to use but so glad it seems to be working so far.

I've been using this gel for about 3 weeks now on a skin graft and, while it seems to have helped, I feel like the scar cream I am using is doing more for moisturizing and reducing scarring than this product is. I do recommend using this if you are looking to reduce scarring, but there are other alternatives out there. I don't think I'll repurchase this when I run out.

I was reluctant to make this purchase, mainly because I didn't know how much it would help a c section scar from almost 18 months prior. I could not be happier with the results I have seen after just a few months of applying daily. This product definitely has my stamp of approval!

So far so good, goes on smoothly and only takes a small amount to cover a decent area. Far superior to any other scar gel in this same price range. It goes on more like a gel I had used that cost 10 times what this cost.

The photos in the ad show an open freah wound before ans after healing. This stuff doesn't work that well. It sort of facilitates healing I guess. But after a month my surgical scars looked the same as when I started. I guess it's possible my body didn't react as well as others have, but I doubt it.
