Flamingo Thinlit Bundle - Flamingo Fold-A-Long Card Die and Thank You Flamingo Phrases Dies - 2 Items

Super fun summer card, especially if you don't have a lot of time and need to make many for a party or group of friends. I thought it would be fun to give this card and the new pineapple fold along card together to a group of people. You can by just the flamingo card separately for $20 (MSRP) but the accent dies work really well with the card. The card comes with a die "You're Flamazing" but I don't really like the font as much as the fonts used to make the accessory set. To make the die cuts look like they do on the cover (ie. word dies), just use a sponge dauber and ink the bottom edges using an ink pad that coordinates with your paper color. This card reminds me of Jen Long's Candy Cane fold along card as the Flamingos (and candy canes) come together to create a heart shape. There are a lot of little detail dies that come with the card which really makes it "fun" - I just wish I knew what they used to create the little feathers coming out of the bird's wings ;-) Be prepared to pay extra for that! (And have tons left over if you only need it for one card, lol. I was going to pass on this until I saw the feathers, I thought it really made the card! (If you haven't made cards before, keep in mind that there was a lot of ink distressing on the card you see in the photo.)
