Worked out nice, a tad expensive
They did work well with my project. They cleaned up nicely and I will definitely be able to use again. Even though Formby's recommends that you use these applicator pads, Lowe's does not carry them in the store or online. Was pleased find them here on Amazon. Not 5 stars since I thought they were a bit overpriced for two sponges with a thin pad on one side.

These things are amazing - and if treated well will work over and over again!
The applicators are the BEST THING since Formby's Tung Oil...and if either soaked or cleaned well they can be used quite a few times. I used one set through an entire desk project from raw wood through at least 6-8 coats on differing pieces.I have had one applicator soaking in cleaner (in a plastic zip-lock) for well over three months and recently pulled it out to use it again - amazing it was still usable! I don't think they are designed for "long-term" reuse, but I'm getting long term use out of them! WOW!
