My first flagship after OnePlus 6T
I rarely buy flagships, and much less on pre-order. I've seen several flagships come and go as I used my OP 6T on and off since 5 years. I've always been an LG fan and have used their phones almost exclusively until I was forced to use a second hand 6T as my main phone after my Velvet started to slow down after a year. Now 6T was an excellent model of OnePlus when it was riding the crest of flagship killers. What a worthy phone and still going strong even after so many years. I had to consider a new phone after my heavy app usage started to take a toll on this unit. The battery backup was still decent, but with a shattered back, I was hoping for a decent good-bye to this well used work horse. When OP12 was announced, something stirred in me like never before. Mind you, I've never batted an eyelid when so many models of OP and other heavyweights like Samsung, Vivo etc were released all these years. The Nothing phone 1 briefly seemed like a choice I'd make in a perfect world, but with their second model, they seemed to be making the same mistake that OnePlus had started making from their OP 8 onwards- price hikes based on previous success and average-ish features. And Nothing went by the no-charger move as a new phone company, parroting the big wigs and I dislike the hypocritical arguments these brands give. If you truly are a sincere, nature-conscious brand, you'll want every customer to get the fast charging brick and a bonus case with your phones, not just a bare-bone phone and claim environmental claims, when in fact separate packaging of charging bricks costs more to the environment and landfills. Anywho, the OnePlus 12 had the features that not only made me notice them once again, but they also packed everything in it with premium features second to none, and also offered generous exchange bonuses and EMI discounts...now that's what I call the return of this brand. Finally, somebody got serious on their board and started to think of value more than profits. I got a whopping 9k for my shattered 6T and a neat 5k in EMI discount. The phone effectively cost me about 54k, a steal for the specs of this flagship. Everything from unboxing to using the phone has been a joy. Almost every day I discover something nice. Many thoughtful features on the 12 have made me feel nostalgic as I reminisce about the good old feature-packed LG phones of a not-too-distant past. And of course, the camera is the sweetest thing here on the 12! What a pro-level experience for both novices and seasoned camera enthusiasts! Now I'm no professional, but for my untrained eyes, every picture looks perfect and videos are as fluid and crisp as any high-end camera out there. OnePlus has gotten one word back into their dictionary again- generous. From giving a 100-watt charger, a case to almost every high-end spec under the hood for a steal, now that's called being generous and then some. Many of the UI features are also in the OP11, so very early on, I learnt the hidden tricks and features of the 12 by devouring videos about the 11. Battery is an all-time high for a flagship and the backup is excellent. I go for 2 days on a single charge. I'm not a gamer, but I imagine you'll squeeze out a lot of juice from this baby and it will still not run dry. I still use the 6T's fast charger and have reserved the 100-watt beast for travel. I'm in no hurry at home :) All in all, this has been the best purchase in 5 years for me. I'm so glad I waited and hit the jackpot with the 12. If OnePlus continues this winning formula of value over profits, they'll be crowned "flagship killers" once again and rightfully so.

Never Settle
The OnePlus 12 with 12GB of RAM delivers exceptional performance in daily use. Apps launch quickly, multitasking is seamless, and gaming is smooth, thanks to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and ufs 4.0 storage. The 12GB LPDDR5X RAM ensures that even with multiple apps open, the phone remains responsive and efficient. The overall user experience is fluid, making it ideal for power users and those who demand high performance from their devices. Camera: The camera system on the OnePlus 12 is one of its standout features. The triple-camera setup, co-engineered with Hasselblad, provides impressive versatility and quality. The main 50MP sensor captures detailed and vibrant photos, with excellent color accuracy and dynamic range. The ultra-wide 48MP lens is great for capturing expansive landscapes and group shots, maintaining good detail and minimal distortion. The 64MP periscope telephoto lens is particularly noteworthy, offering up to 120x digital zoom. This feature is perfect for capturing distant subjects with surprising clarity. Low-light performance is enhanced by advanced night mode capabilities, which produce clear and detailed images even in challenging lighting conditions. The camera also supports 8K video recording, providing ultra-high-definition video with rich detail. Battery Life: The OnePlus 12's battery life is robust, easily lasting a full day of heavy use. The 5400mAh battery, coupled with efficient power management, ensures that you won't be left searching for a charger midday. Fast charging capabilities are another highlight, with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging allowing for quick top-ups. Software: Running on OxygenOS 14, based on Android 14, the software experience is clean and user-friendly. The interface is intuitive, with plenty of customization options to tailor the phone to your preferences. Regular software updates from OnePlus ensure that the device remains secure and up-to-date with the latest features and improvements. Conclusion: The OnePlus 12 (12GB variant) excels in delivering a premium smartphone experience. Its powerful performance, outstanding camera system, and long-lasting battery make it a compelling choice for anyone looking for a high-end device. Fingerprint sensor is also very good. Whether you're a photography enthusiast, a gamer, or a power user, the OnePlus 12 offers a top-tier experience that is hard to beat.

Portrait Mode master, Average video quality.
Looks premium, charges like a dream, works almost as promised but struggles when you use heavy multimedia apps or video editing like VN editor. The phone does really well in natural light but absolutely struggles in artificial light especially yellow light. The photos in portrait mode is a big upgrade, but the videos need skill to handle and make it look professional. The audio quality is decent and battery life on wifi is not very satisfactory. But anything past one plus 7t this is an upgrade in the camera and video department especially the Zoom it provides. I've been a One plus user since 9+ years and have tried 7 different phones in our family. The one thing is the software is really stable and there is very little lags on general use. The promised can use touchscreen on rain or droplets did not work for me on this phone is quite a dampener. Since I work with big cameras, found the ergonomic grip also quite ok. After a Month Review
Its been a month since I bought this, and I am happy for the money I spent. At the beginning I thought that, why would I need a phone with 16GB ram, but now the free memory is most of the time 3-3.6GB. So, the apps will get so snappy when bringing those back from the background. Camera: One of the best according to the price, gives good quality photos. 120x zoom is a gimmick, S23-24 ultras will slap 12 on this department. Portraits are really good, the depth of field needs some tweak. Front camera is okish, also portraits, the depth of field needs some adjustments. Performance: Easily beat S23 ultra, so smooth and snappy. With the high performance mode, the Geekbench score is in top category. Battery: A bit skeptical. 0-100 is like 30mins max with battery management, and even faster without the battery management. won't get hot. Backup is better, as good as any flagship phones, but a full day backup totally depends upon many factors, like, 5G network usage, screen resolution, background apps, game play -if you are into that, video recording, screen brightness etc. One day I am got 9hr screen on time -YouTube mainly 4K res. and 30% charge still was there. But CPU-GPU intensive apps will definitely drain the battery. And one day I got only 6hr screen time!! I am using 120Hz refresh rate all the time (no going back!), and the resolution in auto mode. In conclusion, battery won't do any magic, but need an eye on it to make it last a full day. Display: Before I bought, I thought that curved screens are a pain in the ass, but now I am a fan of it. It will give an unique took to the phone. My current case is preventing all accidental touches from the curved area. Display is sharp, colour rich etc. Haptic feedback is amazing, even in bike, under heavy traffic, it is so much sensible. The feel is definitely premium. One Plus did an amazing job on that department. Fingerprint reading is fast, if the finger is exactly in the given boundary round. UI is pretty clean, butter smooth 120Hz scrolling, no blotwares, almost all apps can disable except the core system apps. Updates are come 2-3 times in a month, at the beginning. And now it reduced to 1 for each month Don't buy this for the camera, there are other phones in this price category which do better. 12 is all about the clean UI, almost!, butter smooth interface, brand support etc. so an all rounder day to day companion. I used the MI/Redmi phones for the past 5 years, and want to say this, just stay away from that brand, phones are phenomenal, but pretty much sketchy MIUI OS and MI software 😆 So, that's it. Its flagship killer and its the best for 67K.

Very nice phone
### OnePlus 12 Review: A Smart Upgrade with Excellent Discounts I recently upgraded from my OnePlus 7 to the OnePlus 12, and I couldn't be happier with my decision, especially considering the significant discounts I received. The total discount amounted to ₹22,500, which included an exchange discount of ₹17,000 for my old phone, an additional discount of ₹3,000, and a bank discount of ₹2,500. This substantial saving made the upgrade even more worthwhile. The OnePlus 12 offers impressive performance with its advanced hardware and software features. The sleek design, vibrant display, and powerful processor make it a top contender in the smartphone market. The camera system is excellent, providing sharp and clear photos even in low light. Battery life is solid, easily lasting a full day with heavy use, and the fast charging capability is a convenient feature. One concern I've heard from some users is about the phone's water resistance, specifically that it might not perform well if submerged in water. However, this isn't a significant issue for me as I don't plan to use my phone in such conditions. The OnePlus 12 is still robust and reliable for everyday use. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with my OnePlus 12. The excellent discounts I received made it an incredible value, and the phone's performance, design, and features exceed my expectations. If you're considering an upgrade and can take advantage of similar discounts, I highly recommend the OnePlus 12.

Best specs and battery backup
OnePlus 12 Pros and Cons Pros: ✔ Powerful Performance – Equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, ensuring smooth multitasking and gaming. ✔ Stunning Display – 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED with 120Hz refresh rate and high brightness for an immersive experience. ✔ Excellent Battery Life – 5400mAh battery with 100W fast charging (wired) damn I loved this fast charging personally and 50W wireless charging. ✔ Improved Camera System – 50MP main sensor with Hasselblad tuning, better low-light performance. ✔ Premium Build Quality – Glass and metal design with IP65 water and dust resistance. ✔ OxygenOS Experience – Clean, fast, and close to stock Android with regular updates. Cons: ✖ No IP68 Rating – Unlike some flagships, it has IP65, meaning limited water resistance. ✖ No Periscope Zoom – Lacks a 10x periscope zoom like some competitors. ✖ Software Updates – While improved, OnePlus still lags behind Samsung and Google in long-term support. ✖ Price Increase – More expensive than previous OnePlus models, nearing premium flagship pricing. Verdict: The OnePlus 12 is a fantastic flagship with top-tier performance, an excellent display, and fast charging. However, it lacks some high-end features like an IP68 rating and periscope zoom. If you want a premium phone with a near-stock Android experience and fast performance, it’s a solid choice.

No more worrying about running out of battery. Camera - Incredible image quality Now, let's talk about the camera - it's amazing! The rear camera on the OnePlus 12 is amazing. Worst Experience ( now I regret why I bought this mobile)
Mobile is ok. But not upto the mark. Purchased for Rs.70k. Camera quality is excellent. Mobile is smooth. Battery drains very fast(not heavy user, like I don't play games. I just watch YouTube for on and off). Minimum 2 times I am changing the mobile when I go to office, when I am at home then 3 or 4 times. But the best part is, it charges quick. Be careful before buying. Not all the reviews are correct. Some reviews are over hyped for this mobile. I also fall in these reviews. Update after 4 months usage: I have never seen such a mobile and it's customer care service. 1. Fingerprint Sometimes Fingerprint and remains still. For this multiple times I had reached service centre and they said no issue at all. They update or reinstall the software. But the issue persistent. Now 2 months are done but no solution to this. 2. Blank screen (Mobile apps lag) Apps become blank when we open it. My mobile is with 16GB + 12 GB Ram and 512 GB ROM. But still mobile stucks. I don't know where the issue is. Again done multiple time done software from service centre. (I don't play any games at all. I don't have more than 10 apps of my daily usage. And I don't even use apps out of Google Play Store). But the issue persistent. Now 2 months are done but no solution to this. 3. Charging I was using Sumsung A31. There was issue for more than 3 years. Just wanted to upgrade and wanted to buy camera phone. So I was searching and I bought this phone. Everyday day I need to change for 2 times minimum. As I mentioned I am neither a game lover nor any heavy apps I have installed in my phone. No help from service centre nor customer care. They say that everything is fine. 4. Customer Care Service OnePlus 12 mobile is flagship mobile as they say. But in reality it's not. When I went to customer service centre no premium line for this device. Only foldable mobiles have the premium line. I walked in to the service centre at 11:30am and came out at 4:30pm just to submit my device. Customer care service centre is another world. They say in nice voice and beautiful way. We are there for us. It's just words only. They don't give any solution at all. Finally suggest us to reach the service centre. When we call to there premium customer service number, it doesn't connect at all. I had waited more than 40 minutes to talk but it went on hold. Finally I cut the call. Better normal customer care number works, but again for this they transfer our call to premium service only. Which is fun and nothing happens there. This all my experience. Before you buy please go through.
