Linney's Mill White Corn Grits Fresh Stone Ground 2/2 lb Bags

I love stone ground grits. These are so good! Very course and flavorful. And did include their recipe for making them creamier. If you love grits buy these! I'm gonna have to make some shrimp and grits and Grillades.

Very nice, course ground, flavorful grits. Wish I had discovered long ago. A little pricey, bit well worth it.These are milled in a generations old stone water mill in North carolina. Looks like a pretty good sized creek that they are on. I'm only hoping they were not damaged with the catastrophic hurricane last week. God bless all who were affected by that storm system!!

These are very good grits when you cook them for 45 minutes at a 4:1 liquid to grits ratio. Authentic hominy grits will 'pop' when they're ready. To achieve this you must cook the grits beyond the point where they're simply 'creamy' and wait until you can see the yellowish insides mixed in with your white hominy and black hull specks. I'm an old Southern woman and I used to be a chef, here's my grits recipe for 1-2 servings, scales up easily as a ratio:1/3 cup dry grits1 cup water1/3 cup half and half1 tsp saltMix everything in the pot cold, then cook and stir on medium heat until boiling and grits no longer sink to the bottom as you stir, about 5-7 minutes. Now turn the heat down to LOW, put the lid on the pot, and WALK AWAY for about 40 minutes. Give the creamy, 'popped' grits a good stir, top with butter and serve with a big spoon.

My hubby is from the South&he is serious about his grits! He doesn't like the instant grits.These are not instant. They're the real deal! Delicious sweet or savory!

Such a nice product! It comes in cloth bags tied at the top. The bags were carefully wrapped in plastic to seal the package up securely. These creamy grits cook up beautifully and have more taste than grits I've purchased at the grocery store. They're also a very good buy here on Amazon.

I am picky about my Southern products and this checks all the boxes! Thank you for a great product at a great price!

Been ordering these for months now and they are the best grit i have come across. My wife who wasn't a fan of grits laughed at me when I ordered the two pack, but now I have to make grits for her every Sunday, the only day we are able to have breakfast together, and she loves them also. Have ordered a few times and will keep on ordering
