A perfect counter top sharpener. I use it all the time and it takes up only a small footprint on the counter and looks stylish.

I purchased this after seeing one of my favorite YouTubers use it on her cooking show. I’m not exactly a knife snob, but I am particular about keeping my knives sharp and well cared for. She gave it a glowing review, and since she owns a Pareusi knife, I figured she knew what she was talking about. For ease of use, this sharpener is excellent — simple to use and surprisingly effective. It gets my knives back to a sharp edge in no time. That said, I’m still hesitant to try it on my custom carbon steel chef’s knife, which was a gift from a bladesmith and holds sentimental value. I used to sharpen all my knives with a whetstone, but that process takes a lot of time. Now, I happily use this on my everyday knives, and it’s been a real time-saver. It’s definitely an investment piece, but one that pays off in convenience and performance.

Best knife sharpener I ever owned & I have had many! It sharpens to 11degrees while American sharpeners only to 15-30 degrees. It also has the ability to maintain that edge by a few strokes with minimal removal of material giving your expensive knives longevity while keeping that desired edge.

Easy to use and sharpens knives well, including serrated knives.

Working perfectly to sharpen my knives with very little effort on my part. Instructions were accurate and easy to follow. This is the best knife sharpener I have used outside of a whet stone, safe to use, sturdy and very well made.
