Batman Arkham Asylum Game of the Year Essentials (PS3)

This game. Not many games in 2014 that were originally released in 2009 that still look up to date graphically, but more importantly still advanced when it comes to game mechanics and gameplay.When you're playing this game, you're experiencing a true work or art. The size of the game is perfection in terms of land to explore as well as giving you enough to feel satisfied by the end of the main story, but making you want a sequel (which there is).The combat in this game is so well made, that to be honest it makes almost every other combat system feel like a clunky chore to play. The voice acting is superb too. I've saw the cartoons in the past, the developers of this game really got the voice cast to put a 100% effort into this amazing title.There are also additional game modes in the way of predator and combat maps. Predator maps involve you using all kinds of arsenal and stealth tactics from melee to environmental items to take down enemies. A real fun mode to chill and relax with. The combat maps are all about showing the potential of the combat mechanics and getting higher scores that the defaults set by the devs.If you're into trophies/achievements. The list is also very enjoyable and is one of only a few games where millions of gamers actually enjoyed finding every collectable.You need to buy this and then play it multiple times.

The game keeps crashing, that's the second game with the same problem in a month from the same seller and I've bought 3 game from them. Avoid.

Quite good

I last played this game in 2009 on the Xbox when it came out and it was good, but now i got the PS3 version i enjoy it even more, and it was a bargain!!!I love the Arkham series and while Arkham City was probably the best, this still has many reasons to play. I cannot wait for PS4 Return to Arkham remake to see it in better graphics!!The Joker still has the best lines, Harley is sexy and crazy as ever and i enjoy finding all of the tapes and listening to the backstory of some of the charactersOnly minor frustration would be the Riddler's endless trophies again

Such a great game. Loved every second of it so much that I had to play it through a few more times (on varying difficulties of course) just to wait till I was bored. (Still waiting BTW) Anyway, great game and great ad ons for it. Would recommend for any batman fan who has yet to delve into the Arkham Games or just has yet to experience the asylum at the height of its craziness. A smaller map than following games (city, Knight) but still makes for a good game due to the varying areas hidden throughout the asylum and all the different buildings.

Bought for a pool of games..
