Good size catch lots of bass with it..my go to top water bait.

I have caught more fish than when I used the Pop-R. You know the one. The green one that's in every tackle box. Anyway this casts much further, walks if you want, and something else I never even heard of.... The bass pictured were caught not on topwater, but by dragging the lure about four feet. It actual dives about six inches, and wobbles/rolls a lil as it is "swept" with the rod. Very cool action to vary your casting time with a popper. The bass were absolutely hammering it, very cool to see them come up and get it as it rose back to surface

Strike King lures got a lot better when KVD was brought on their pro-staff years ago. KVD is the best and the lures that he helps design are always top shelf and put together well. Over the years the lures have gotten very expensive and I admit I sometimes use cheaper options...but the Strike King lures that are designed by KVD are worth the money (when I have it).

For some reason, bass destroyed this bait this March-April. I've never been too successful with poppers but these will make the perfect deep bloop bloop when worked nice and slowly. I still have one tied on. Caught dozens of bass, a couple huge crappie and a bunch of pickerel and it's still going strong. I only had to replace the rear treble after a while.
