They work just like OEM parts. This is for my girlfriend's phone who keeps breaking her phone every couple of months. She shoves the cord in yanks the cord out drops the phone on the cord so she's constantly breaking the charging port.

So glad I didn’t have to dish out hundreds on a new phone. I was a bit worried I wouldn’t know how to do this on my own but it was very simple to follow instructions and to use the product itself. I would highly recommend.

Works perfect just time consuming

The tool kit was great but the actual part didn't fit. The board that came out of my phone is at the bottom in the picture. The multi-pin connector at the top is the wrong gender. The picture on the product page matches what I have but not the product I received. Perhaps this was just a bad batch.

I used this kit to repair broken charger port on my mobile phone. After watching several repair videos I was able to fix this problem on my phone. I used the black stick to pop open the phone and the tiny phillips screwdriver to disassemble. Removed old port and replaced with the new circuit. Then reassembled. The phone connectors and housing are very delicate so a gentile touch must be used at all times. You must be careful as well to align and seat connectors properly. You may want a backup tiny phillips screwdriver in case the one in the kit wears out . Slow and careful to be sure everything is snapped into position when assembled.
