Most people will find a time when they might need one of these. They are used to open and read all community boxes in building and the box contains electric and gas readings. Your landlord will have one, or should or if you can use one to monitor your readings. often hanging open because people don't know what they are and break them open whilst this little item just slots in and the petal piece inside is raised and the reverse to close. There are some different types but usually standard but you can buy one that looks a a four pronged wheel with 4 different ones which people like fire/landlords have for a variety of openers. Very cheap, a strong plastic. Get one.

It opens the gas meter cupboard. What more can I say?! It did arrive very quickly, which was excellent as I needed it quickly.

Not all gas cupboard keys are the same size. This was too big and therefore unsuitable for its use.
