Mark Talucci and Todd Elliott, founded THE SAK in 1989 with a singular handbag, created from a unique fabrication. The immediate success of this bag revealed a great demand in the marketplace for accessories crafted from unique textiles. Encouraged, they began developing distinctive, richly textured weaves, and, in 1994, launched THE SAK's signature fabrication, Tightweave. This exclusive textile, designed into modern handbag shapes, garnered a tremendous following, and propelled the THE SAK to become the fourth largest handbag company in the United States.

I love it!
I got the black one, and I really like that it looks so somber and solemn on the outside, but has that happy color pattern thing going on inside. There are plenty of card slots for all your needs; the card slots on the outside row are a little wider than the ones in the middle row, so I'd suggest placing anything you use frequently there. Everything slips in and out easily in that outside row, including the license; the middle row slots are a little tighter, so it takes a little effort to get the cards in and out of those slots. I'm okay with that, because there are some cards I carry that I don't really take out all that much, if at all, and they have found their places in that middle row. It's a great wallet with a slim profile, and I like that it's long enough so that your bills can go unfolded. Fits neatly and takes up very little space in all my purses and bags, but it looks great as a clutch by itself as well for those quick errand runs.

Great quality, and fun design both inside and out
I purchased this wallet for my wife for Christmas, and she loves it! It is really nice quality, has great detail and design, and seems to be very sturdy. It goes excellent with The SAK leather brown purse that I got for her as well. The design of both the purse and the wallet are the same inside, but the outsides are different enough to make them each standout on their own.

Looks ivory but really a light gray color.
I love this style Sak wallet. It has room for all my credit cards, cash and change. It has a nice roomy zippered compartment inside which I use for my change so although the extra outside zipper compartment is nice, it is not really necessary. I already have the teak color and was looking for this wallet in an ivory shade. This Shitake perforated wallet looks ivory on my monitor so that is why I ordered it. I was disappointed to find that it is a mushroom color (real light grey) and had I read the description more carefully, I would have realized why it is named "Shitake" (my duh). I did decide to keep it since it is a more neutral shade and will work for my purpose. Really a great wallet.

This wallet has plenty of compartments
I had a zipped artist circle prior to this and liked the quality (although the zipper separated after a while on the corner) and I wanted a wallet to match my fall backpack-style Sak handbag.I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to fit all my stuff into a fold-over wallet, but this Iris Flap wallet is generously sized with plenty of compartments and an outer zip area for change. There are two snap fasteners to allow for the overstuffed vs slimmer users. My only negative observation is that one of the two sections of credit card slots is a bit too narrow. I have to force my cc's to slide in and they are a bit hard to extract. The slots were more generous in the Artist Circle zip wallet. I guess they will 'relax' over time and are by no means a reason not to buy this lovely wallet.

I love this wallet
I love this wallet, in Tobacco Dotted Patch. It is cute and trendy while still having a classic appeal. Quality materials and construction. Tons of room for cards, cash, receipts, loose change, and whatever else you might stick in your wallet. I am sure I'll be using this wallet for a long time to come.

Well made wallet.
A little more pricey than I have previously paid for a wallet, but well worth it. It has the right amount of compartments to organize my money, credit cards, coupons, gift card, appointment cards, etc. Its a little stiff when snapping it closed, but I expect the leather to sofyen with age.

Snazzy wallet for all your stuff
Great selection. Not too big, not too squished. My only tiny complaint is that credit cards could conceivably slide out of the end where it's not completely secured. My solution: don't put anything in that slot so there's nothing to slide out. It's very pretty, brown/black combo goes with almost anything. Definitely glad I purchased it.
