Review: Little Loaves of Perfection - This loaf pan turns out some of those most fabulous, scrumptious looking (and tasting) little loaves...And if you're like me and baking is usually a flop, you will feel ridiculously proud of what comes out of the oven. I've been looking for a mini loaf pan quite awhile so I could try to make tasty, healthier little homemade treats to take along in school lunches, on the way out the door to work or the gym, etc. I never settled on any other metal mini-loaf pan because I felt like they were too pricey for what they had to offer, so the idea pretty much fizzled until I ran across this pan. For the price, I figured I couldn't go wrong...My oven (and taste buds) were screaming for some variety, so I went for it. Now, you might be thinking that I'm just getting a bit over the top mushy gushy, but I'm telling you, when this bright yellow loaf pan landed on my doorstep, it was like a splash of sunshine in my otherwise mundane day. Even though it was appealing to the eye, I knew the real test was seeing if this thing could help me create something that my picky family would trust to their oh-so-delicate taste buds. The first thing I made in it was cornbread from scratch. After about 15 minutes at 350 degrees I had twelve perfectly baked mini-cornbread loaves. It was THAT easy. No scraping or complicated twists or manuevers to get my bread out. After the pan cooled a bit, I was able to pop the loaves out with less effort than removing a muffin wrapper and each loaf was thoroughly baked without crispy outside and gooey insides. Win. Cleanup was a snap. Just wash with some warm soapy water, rinse and you're good! No scrubbing or soaking. I'm super impressed with California Kitchenware and plan to try out another piece (or two) soon. Since the pan is silicone, it's super flexible and can scrunch up to fit into a small space, which was another necessity due to my cramped kitchen space. Really, I could go on and on about the ways I love the pan...but take my word for it; if you've been looking for a mini-loaf pan (or not-maybe you just love buying new kitchen gadgets) you should buy this. Review: LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!! - I received this wonderful baking dish a few days ago at the recommendation of a close friend who swears by it and all I can say is WOW! I am remarkably impressed with how convenient and effective this dish is. I used it to bake banana bread and it worked perfectly! I honestly have nothing bad to say about this product. After my banana bread cooled I reached to take one out and it came out with ease and cooked to perfection. What really sold me was how easy it was to clean. As a mom who dreads cleaning the aftermath of my "nonstick" baking dishes, it was the ultimate test. A simple wipe with my hands and a rinse in the sink washed away any banana bread that remained. I had baked cupcakes earlier with a traditional tin and when I compare cleaning the two, I'd choose this product all the way. I strongly recommend this product to everyone, you will not be disappointed. I'm going to use this for everything now. It is durable, truly nonstick, and easy to use and clean. It is my new favorite baking took in the kitchen.

Love these tiny loaves!
These trays are just perfect for making mini loaves, whether for a work function, gift, or just because. I notoriously have bad luck baking regular sized loaves of bread - for some reason it's never cooked through all the way, so I usually end up making muffins instead. This is a fun alternative to that, a different and unexpected size. The mini loaves cooked evenly all the way through, and came out of the pan incredibly easily. The pan cleaned really easily as well. I love that you can turn it inside out -it makes cleaning each individual cavity so much easier. I'll be making brownies in it this weekend, mmm!

What a fast, easy way to prepare baked goods!
I love to be in the kitchen, and for years, my favorite kind of thing to make was baked goods. Cookies, cupcakes, bread -- you name the baked good, and I had a recipe that was fabulous. However, there was always one thing that used to drive me crazy, and that was the way that my pans and trays would discolor and become sticky with residue. I tried everything, from using less or more cooking spray or butter to switching to paper liners. When those didn't work, I would let my cookware sit in hot, soapy water for hours. No matter what I did, it was only a few months before my beautiful, shiny pans would become dull, sticky and just ugly looking. As a result, I slowly pulled away from baking until I'd all but given it up. A couple of weeks ago, I had a craving for banana nut bread. It had been years since I'd last made it, and out of nowhere, I needed to have them. Of course, I had no baking pans, so I went online to see what I could find. Just as I was about to pull the trigger on yet another set of metal pans, I noticed this silicone petite loaf pan. What an interesting idea, I thought. The price was right, so I went ahead and placed my order with Prime. Two days later, I was in the kitchen and testing them out. I have to say, I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a kitchen item before. This pan is amazing! The silicone is rigid enough to stand on its own and hold the weight of the batter, and when the mini loaves were done, all I had to do was let them cool a bit and literally pop them out of the pan. Best of all -- no food remnants burnt onto the pan! To clean, I just quickly washed the pan in hot, soapy water and let it air dry. If you hate ugly metal pans, you have to try these silicone pans. Later this week, I'm going to go online and buy another one, plus take a look at some of their other cookware options.
