Lovely fresh air. I chose this one over the others on offer with much deliberation. This one can actually do a room much larger than we have in our house, but we live on a farm and have lots of pets so I know that mud is constantly coming into our house especially on the dog. You can see dust particles in the air all the time. My children suffer with mild asthma which is a worry. I decided to purchase this one because for the price and the size room that it covers it looked to be the best value for money. The filters are also cheaper than the more expense Phillips model and some of the reviews on that model indicate that the filters need changing quite quickly, although I don't really know how long these ones are going to last, 6 months is a guideline. I have to say my house is not as dirty as I thought! I set this on Auto mode and most of the time it stays on blue, mild pollution. Occasionally it goes to green for a short time where the machine is working much harder and you can generally hear it at that stage, but it is not loud, not to the point of being disturbing.. For me it has never had to go full strength yet. The sleep function is great if you have it in your bedroom, it runs away at its lowest setting. It also has a timer if you want it to work for a set period only. The air that comes out of it is quite cool, it will be nice in the summer will double up as an air conditioning unit! We have used this in every room in our house now and all members of my family have stated that the smell is really fresh.. The instructions are very good and so is the after sale service. I would definitely recommend this product.

Compared to the over engineered, over complicated noisy offerings from some other manufacturers (e.g. Dyson) this device is a joy. It is quiet (almost completely silent when the air quality is good), compact and just gets on with it. Don’t expect it to act as a fan - it isn’t. It is an air purifier. It has large HEPA and activated carbon air filters and that means that it doesn’t have to force the air through, it only needs to maintain a gentle flow. I think that is what makes it so quiet. The controls are wonderfully simple, and are operated by a touch panel on the top that makes a very soft tinkling noise to give you feedback. The filters are easy to change via a large panel that has easy access via magnetic catches. No pointless remote controls to lose. No completely unnecessary internet connections to fail. Air quality is indicated by a light (that you can turn off for bedroom use!) that changes colour. I thought this might be a bit cheap and nasty for the price, but it is a quality item that is simple and effective. I will by more Levoit products in the future.

We have been using this in our sitting room for some weeks now. I have a terrible problem with dust and it seems to be very effective. We put it on maybe a few times a week for a few hours and it really helps to clear dust form the room. Our room is around 85 m3 at a guess so we decided to go for a larger unit. It is possible to spend thousands on these units; this one was considerably cheaper but seemed to use the same filtration process. It is not silent and I would not really want to sit with it on for long even on low power. It has a timer so it will switch off automatically if you set it. I gave 4 stars because considering how simple the product is, basically a fan and filters inside a plastic box, it seems very expensive to me. Of course you can spend a lot more if you wish, looking at independent review sites. It does the trick for us. The filters will need to be replaced in a few months.

The Levoit air purifiers are excellent, I purchased this version for the bedroom (25m2) excellent machine, we use the air purifier mainly during the night, not noisy, in fact it has a perfect 3 mode choice and the night is the lowest sound . cleans the air , I suffer from asthma and I sleep much better when it's on , I use it while working out from home via zoom in the same room . the other Levoit I bought is excellent too , bigger in size and round and tall , the bigger size has a different filter and is potent enough to cover th 44m2.the good thing about THIS MODEL Levoit Air Purifiers for Home 48m² with True HEPA Filter, 1-12H Timer, Auto Mode, IS THAT WE DON'T SPEND TOO MUCH £$£$ ON FILTER REPLACEMENTS. buy it if you have pets and allergies.

Well so far so good. I only received this air purifier today and already there is a huge difference in our air quality. It was simple to set up I had it up and running within a few minutes. I set it to run on full power for half an hour and it worked perfectly even cleared the smell of stale tobacco within the half an hour. I then set it to automatic and am pleased to say that within seconds of lighting up a cigarette it sensed poor air quality and kicked in to do its work. I am a heavy smoker but my husband quit the evil weed over 10 years ago so his reaction to my smoking is bad (he's always complaining). I have situated purifier in my studio an average medium sized bedroom as this is where I smoke. Forgive the lengthy explanation I just wanted to give you the reader an accurate picture of how great this purifier is. My husband thought I had fallen prey to yet another expensive gadget, however, even he had to admit that it works. The smell of tobacco doesn't get the chance to escape my studio with the door open and there is absolutely no trace of the dreaded awful smell of cigarette smoke in our home. I am amazed and delighted because even I wondered if I was wasting a lot of money buying this great gadget. The cons - I have to admit that it is pretty noisy on full power but when it is set on auto it is only on full for around ten to fifteen minutes and it drops down to nothing unless something tips the air quality into poor. On the plus side it is portable not particularly heavy and easy to move around. So no more second hand smoke to harm my husband, my dog, two cats and the two budgies who live in my studio. I am sure that already my budgies are happier and more active as they must have been affected by the smoke, budgies have very delicate respiratory systems. So all the waffle aside this is the best considered purchase I have made for a long time. It REALLY works.
