Delayed review. Great product. Gave 4 stars, because first one i recieved had an issue. They made it right, with fast responses, and great communication. Cannot complain. New one fit fittings, and worked great with no leaking. Great value for the money.

It works but may need multiple attempts
After reading many negative and positive comments about this tool, I can say they were all right. It doesn't work if you don't follow some simple steps that are not included in the directions. It works great once you get the hang of it. I used this to replace a leaking Schrader valve on a 2006 Acura. First couple attempts failed. Fortunately, even when the valve does not move above the shut off valve, it can easily be reseated so you can remove the tool without losing freon. I ended up adding a dab of dielectric grease to the tip of the tool, and most importantly, held the plunger in place as I unscrewed the valve. Since the system is pressurized, when the valve is removed the pressure bump inside the tool pushes the stem out pretty fast. I believe that the rapid movement of the tool was dislodging the valve from the tip. It isn't attached very securely so doesn't take much to separate the valve from the tip. Once I controlled the movement as the valve was unscrewed it worked perfectly. About a minute to remove faulty valve and replace with a new one.

Disappointed, high side connection does not fit.
As many others have said the high side connector is too short to fully lock to the high side port on my 2003 Ford Ranger. I can't imagine it would work any better on any other vehicle as this stuff is all standardized. Maybe Chinese cars? I took out O'Reilly's A/C gauge set and it fit perfectly so I'm sure it's the Orion Motor Tech AC Valve Core Removal Tool at fault. I also tried to remove and replace the low side Schrader valve, The problem I ran into here was not so much the fault of the tool, looks to me like the plunger on the valve core itself is too wide to fit into the end of the tool that grasps the valve core. This looks to me like a Ford issue (or possibly whomever serviced the A/C in the past), not a fault of the tool. I am returning, and advising others not to waste their time. I wish Amazon did a modicum of testing of their supplier's / vendor's merchandise. It's a shame when the only reviewers you can trust are YouTube content providers for whom you can watch use the product!
