For the price great sword. I mainly got this for the Renaissance festival. However I wanted it to be purposeful just in case and why not? It is actually made out of spring steel and extremely sharp. Looks very well made. Nothing was off. Everything was very tight and held together very well. No huge gaps and well weighted.

Out of the box, the shine on this thing is beautiful. It feels powerful and the quality matches every buck spent. The blade was a couple inches shorter than expected but that's perfectly fine. It will come covered in a layer of oil for protection in transport, BE CAREFUL CLEANING THIS LAYER OFF. The warnings on the packaging telling you it is sharp are not lying, I cut my hand pretty badly due to not being careful enough. As a whole, this is a very sharp, very handleable, quality blade that is worth every dollar.

I had read previous comments about people being surprised at how light this sword is and as soon as I picked up the package, I was still impressed by how light this sword is. The box was in pretty bad shape but when I opened it, everything looked perfect. The quality of the sword and the scabbard is amazing. I was especially impressed by the scabbard. Many high dollar, quality blade makers out there that have garbage scabbards or sheaths. The sword comes with a safety tip attached and it was difficult to remove. After removing it, I understood why as the tip of the sword was bent. Not just bent but curled over. Kind of bummed out about that. If it wasn't for the bent tip, this would 5 stars for sure. The company immediately responded and have me a full refund. I will definetely buy from this company again.

I love this sword, its balanced with the right amount of wait. The right length for me to really get some good shoulder work done, its helping me with my footwork. And its a lovely sword. The sheath is also top quality, in my opinion, and the snug fits implies quality. Its a great product and I can suggest it. I needed a sword to play with, that could take the use and abuse, and on a budget. And here we are. Many thanks.

I originally purchased this sword with an old pommel design. I have kept in contact with the manufacturer and they sent me the updated construction. This thing is a DREAM. Fitment is beautiful, mirror polished spring steel is flexible and strong. The scabbard snugly grabs the blade without being difficult to sheath or remove. The balance on this thing is INCREDIBLE. I have not put a dangerous edge on the blade yet and tested retention, but it does come sharp enough to cut so be careful. The new peened pommel is amazing and appears very strong. This is the one. You can not go wrong with Fidestisan!

Best sword for price great quality. Looks amazing. Has some weight to it and is sharp. Definitely recommend.
