This gel polish set is excellent. The colors are beautiful and apply smoothly. The consistency is good, not too thick or too runny, and it cures well under the lamp. Both polishes look shiny and last a long time without chipping. Very good quality for the price. I’m very happy with this purchase.

This gel is great. The base and top coat go on smooth, cures perfectly, and leaves a very cleanand glossy finish. No peeling and my sets actually last. Super easy to use and worth the price.

This polish is very thick, but it works well and last a long time once you know how to apply it like a pro.

I really enjoy both of these products. The base coat goes on even, it’s not thick, cures very nice and the top coat is very shiny, goes on well and hardens nicely. I don’t experience lifting or flaking when I use this product. I can usually get 10 days out of it then the shine is a little less, occasionally a small chip, but nothing major. I usually leave it on for 2 weeks. Sometimes I’ll freshen it up with a coat of the color and then another top coat, if I’m just not in the mood to start all over and need a quick fix. Can stuff in a nail shop last longer? Possibly, but I just prefer the convenience of my own home and I can get many many manicures with these products versus just one professionally done trip. If you prefer to do your own, definitely give this product a try. It works best with this brands gel polishes that need the 3 steps-base, color, top coat and a powerful cure lamp.

The Double Rhythm 2 Pcs 15ML No Wipe Top Coat and Base Coat set is a decent budget option for at-home gel manicures, offering a smooth application that saves time by skipping the sticky residue wipe step. The base coat helps polish adhere well without thickening too much, and the top coat gives a glossy finish right after curing under a UV lamp. However, the shine dulls faster than expected after just a few days, even with proper sealing, and some bottles feel thinner leading to uneven coats or minor bubbling on thicker layers. It’s reliable enough for casual wear but doesn’t match pricier brands for long-lasting salon results—three stars for value and ease.

Now I haven’t worn it (just got it in mail) but I did use it on a nail tip. & it’s really clear, goes on super smooth, top coat self levels really well. PICT is of a dab I dried for 60secs under UVLED light, & it’s less yellow than the BP brand super coat. Also, the top does have a Strong almost rubber odor but not much after drying & the base coat while also is very strong, smells totally different & similar to another brand on here (that has polyurethane in it) but I’ll update review after wearing on how well it wears & the strength.

Wanted to upgrade from my Beetles top+base coat set so I got the Double Rhythm top+base coat set. Unfortunately I have to say I actually think the Beetles set performs better although for safety reasons I won’t reach for it unless it’s for practice on fake hands. This review is after about 2 months of use. The Double Rhythm base coat is fine, I think it does the job and I would keep using it. Initially I thought the top coat performed well but after a couple uses, the top coat gets super thick. Not in a good way where it’s useful for top-coating over nail charms and even-ing out texture. It doesn’t self-level very well and becomes hard to apply so you really have to make sure you apply an even coat. Not only that, but I notice it will dull after only a couple days. I thought I applied it incorrectly or something but even after repeated use, the dullness still happens. I will also get chips in less than a week. Lifestyle wise, I wash dishes with gloves & have a normal routine where I’m not necessarily hard on my nails, so I’m not sure why my top coat gets dull & chips easily. So this is a lesson learned for me to just splurge for the nicer, better quality top coats lol. Although I will say I have some of Double Rhythm’s cat eye polishes & they work great. Just the top coat misses the mark for me.
