Hi Folks, My name is Samuel Alves and I'm a professional artist in the games industry. I decided to do this review in order to help some of you to make the right choice. Before buying this tablet I was used to work with other more known professional brands like wacoms and ipads, and when I saw this tablet from huion I was a bit afraid of getting it. For me this was a brand that I have never heard about. But I still decided to give it a chance. I have been using this tablet for over a year now and this are my thoughts and opinions about this product. The first thing that catch my eye was how good the colours are, they are definitely on point. the calibration is good and the system to adjusted it is simple to use. the other thing is that this tablet looks very professional and the build in material feels very good too. The size of the screen for me is perfect, I use to work on a 22 inches and it tends to be to big to move around but this is a nice size. also the stand that comes with this tablet its really good and comfortable and the funny thing is that other big tablet brands are now using the same stand. I never had any issues with the drivers and they also have options that lets you customize all the buttons on the screen and an option that I praise a lot that allows the user to deactivate windows ink, for those who have some experience know that in some painting programs it is better to have this option available. otherwise you have to do it manually, but huion help us by making this option more available and simple. Now in relation to the pen, when I first tried it I was really happy. For someone that is used to using expensive tablets this can give you the same good experience and in same cases even better. The 8192 levels of pressure are impressive and super responsive which gives you a really good control over your lines. This pens is super comfortable to use and after a day of work I never had any pain on my hand but obviously this also depends on the way you grab it. Maybe the only negative aspect of this pen is that it doesn't feel has sturdy as other brands but I think it's just because it feels a bit lighter than other pens, but after a few minutes of usage you get super use to it. Another awesome feature in this tablet is the unnoticeable texture on the screen and the reason to why this is important is because it helps you to have a better control over your brush strokes, for example imagine drawing with a pen on paper and now imagine drawing on a glass surface, the control on paper is far superior making it easier for an artist to draw intentional lines. Now to make you even more reassured, when I had a minor issue with my pen, Huion solved it within a few days, and they are really helpful, not even a week past and my problem got solved. This Huion pro 16 2.5k pen display is brilliant. This is my first actual pen display, having used a non-display huion tablet for many years. I wish I had got one sooner! The previous feeling of being disconnected from the artwork has now gone. Using this at the moment with corel painter I have to say the experience is phenomenal. If you are wanting to find a way to be creative digitally in a way that is as close to drawing and painting with physical mediums, this is the way to go. As a digital display/input device I cannot fault the huion tablets. They are always responsive and well built. This pro 16 2.5k is no exception and is solid with its metal casing, superb quality screen and also the programmable buttons which I have assigned simple zoom +/- ,undo/redo and eraser functions to smooth out the working process. The tablet was well packaged and the setup needed was minimal. The installation instructions are basic, but I didn't actually need any more info to get going. Huions website has plenty of info on it anyway, and there are countless YouTube videos out there. I recommend pairing this brilliant tablet with a decent software package, as otherwise you won't really benefit from the tablets potential. Just for info, the cables it comes with stretch about 1.5 meters, however I use this sitting on the sofa while my PC is across the room so I bought and hdmi extension (JSAUX HDMI Extension Cable, 2M 4K@60Hz HDR High Speed HDMI 2.0 Extender HDMI Male to Female) plus a USB 3.0 extension cable so it would reach. I also needed to get an HDMI to displayport adapter to plug into my PC graphics card. These additional bits added about £30 to my purchase overall (i just got them from amazon) but you may not need these. Just to say I bought this tablet because I wanted to be able to be creative without having easels, paints and canvases causing an annoyance in my house with 2 children tripping and knocking into stuff, so this review is not biased in any way.

Pros: - Solid construction - Quality feel - Good pressure sensitivity - Good screen texture (feels rough at first but wears to a tolerable level quickly) - Screen big enough to get a good canvas area while also having my menus open - Excellent viewing angle - Buttons work nicely - Comes very nicely packaged - Excellently designed swappable socket adapter - The smudge-proof glove is good quality and the screen wipe is handy Cons: - Installation was a bit tricky. The USB-C seems to only work in one orientation, which removes the main reason you’d want one - Speaking of, they don’t have a USB-C computer end cable version for Mac, which is a shame. If you have it at one end, you can make extra profit by selling a version with one at the other end - The buttons only work for one program, if you want them to work differently for other programs, you’ll need to reprogram them each time - You have to digitise it holding the pen at the angle you tend to use it. Change the angle, the offset changes. This is troublesome if you move around when drawing, like me - The offset also changes when you get too close to the edge of the screen - This one is the most personally annoying, as I’m left-handed, but you can’t program the scroll wheel to work in reverse. At least, not that I could find. So when held inverted, in “left hand mode”, scrolling down requires physically scrolling up. You get used to it eventually. And when booting up the logo is inverted, showing that the left hand mode only inverts the screen and none of the software. All in all it’s a very good tablet for the price and I love it. Doesn’t mean it perfect, but it’s worth the money!

Los Drivers se instalan a través de la Web del fabricante. Hay unas instrucciones donde está escrito la web. Son fiables. Solo precisa de dos descargas. Luego necesitas descargar en tu pc cualquier programa, ya sea de pintura y dibujo como photoshop. La pantalla es espectacular, las puntas del bolígrafo cuando dibujas asemeja el sonido del papel y, en ocasiones diría, pareciera que esto pintando con un rotulador. La pantalla es de cristal con una aleación que permite que sea muy preciso. La calidad es óptima. No existe espacios en los botones, todo está ajustado y es de calidad. El fabricante cuida su producto. Cuando lo recibas y lo abras sabrás de lo que estoy hablando. Todo el equipo está bien ajustado para que no sufra daños. Tengo que decir que lo que cuesta lo vale y merece mucho la pena. No esperen a una oferta o que baje de precio, es muy probable que lo suban ya que la calidad y sus prestaciones son de alta calidad. La precisión del lápiz en la pantalla es espectacular. Puedes pasear el puntero por los apartados de programa de dibujo para seleccionar las herramientas y si no tocas con el puntero en la pantalla no lo eliges, quiero decir, la pantalla detecta el puntero sin que está toque la pantalla y solo selecciona esa herramienta si la coges tocando la pantalla. Me gusto este formato ya que además el bolígrafo está en forma de pincel y no pesa absolutamente nada ya que no tiene batería. Podría pasarme todo el tiempo diciendo lo buena que es. Este producto no está hecho con plásticos de baja o media calidad, el producto pesa casi 7 kilos y las patas que trae son de acero con un acabado en goma para que no se deslice. Yo me compré aparte una base para mejorar la posición de la pantalla, este no es de plástico, el fabricante trabaja en acero y es muy robusto. Tiene dos conexiones USB, una de HDMI, los cables del hdmi son dorados para una mejor conducción de la imagen. Tiene un cable de cargador, necesita corriente continua para el funcionamiento, esto mejora su volumen ya que la pantalla y el equipo en sí es más delgado y mucho más manejable. Para mi es una pantalla para bien trabajar a gusto por lo grande y por todo esos buenos detalles que el fabricante en calidad no escatima. Si eliges este producto, en el momento que lo recibas y abras la caja para descubrirlo, verás por lo que has pagado y si mereció la pena, yo desde luego, viviría otra vez para comprármelo de nuevo. Para mi este producto y fabricante es de 5 estrellas.

I've been using this one for more than a year now and I am very happy with it! I used to have a Wacom tablet prior to this one. Wacom costs way more for less quality. I definitely recommend Huion over Wacom andly day of the week. 10/10 would recommend getting this tablet!
