Pool pump motor seized up with age so purchased this that included motor seal and other seals and gaskets. Motor is for 110 or 220 volt just flip the switch and reassemble as taken apart. Runs great and with more pressure.

This was just about the lowest price motor on Amazon (if not the lowest), and it was for a brand name -- AO Smith, which is high quality. But what makes it an even better value is that it came with the shaft seal and o-rings that the other motors did not. This made installation smoother and easier. Motor came extremely well packaged, installed easily, all shaft seals and o-rings fit perfectly, and runs quiet. Also, when wiring the motor, I noticed what appears to be a grounding contact on the end of the shaft (my old previous motor did not have this). I can only speculate, but my guess is that this could indicate that the new motor has silicon-nitride ball bearings. Some companies put a grounding contact on the rotor since the ceramic balls are non-conducting to dissipate any static electricity. If this is the case, it's just an indication of the quality of the AO Smith motor, as silicon-nitride bearings are higher quality and longer lasting than the old ones with steel balls. But as I mentioned, this is purely speculative, it could have been added for a totally different purpose. Either way, it's a great motor that includes the shaft seal and o-rings at a great price.

Replaced a dynamic tech MOD 5KC38SN6084AX with this and it's a direct fit and quieter.. had to order the impeller because it was broke but will do a video when it arrives.

Motor installed easily and seemed good. After installation the motor seemed noisy at times but then would be quiet again. It failed after 13 months of use. There were no signs of the seal leaking or indications of there being an issue.

I had to replace the existing pump motor as the bearings basically went belly up. It was a total pain in the you know what to get the old one uninstalled. However, this new one went in perfectly. I started it up and barely heard it. I mean the quietest pool pump I've ever heard. Made my day after fighting with the old one. Had to bust the old one up into pieces to remove it. This new one fit perfect. Decent pricing too.

Worked great for the first 4months, then the bearings went and lost 80% of pressure. I'm hoping we just got a bad one. Gonna try again.
