Ultra-clear optics, excellent for mid-range shooting, zero resettable turrets, lifetime warranty!
Wow, Riton is now my primary source of rifle optics! And it's worth every single penny. I had zero experience with this optics brand until now, so I hesitated to order it at first, but I'm glad that I finally did order this scope. Right after taking it out of its box my first impression was - wow, this scope looks and feels as good as Sig Sauer or Vortex scopes. I've noticed that it's pretty heavy, but I think that's ultimately a tribute to its solid construction. I've owned many scopes over the years, for different rifles and different purposes. This scope beats the most expensive models I've owned hands down. I am overly impressed. Let's dive into review. Right out of the box, it feels premium and top-quality. Excellent materials, fit, and finish. The adjustment knobs are crisp and provide clear feedback. The product packaging is superb, they did not try to save pennies on cheap materials even here, it's sturdy and well presented with nice infographics outside and inside the box. As I said, it feels like a premium product. Package does not include any scope rings, mounting or adjustment tools, only the scope with flip-up covers already pre-installed. The scope was safely packaged using pre-cut foam inserts. It looks and feels like a solid product. The scope turrets are beefy, as they should be for such a large scope. They are affixed by hex-head screws and it's easy to grab them and rotate with your fingers. Both elevation and windage turrets work smoothly with positive tactile feedback and clear audio clicks. Numbers and markings on the turrets are large and easy to read. The scope also features zero-reset turrets, which are similar to high-end Vortex L-Tec Zero Stop system and is a must feature for long range scopes. The quality of the glass is superb, the image at 12x magnification is truly clear, the contrast and color are excellent, distortions are minimal to none, not even a small warping around the edges is present. Parallax adjustment is necessary for these long-range scopes and helps a lot with high magnification and on this scope, it can be adjusted from 15 to infinity. The scope also features a long eye relief of 100mm at 4x, which is perfect for mounting it out front on a rifle. Unfortunately, there is no scope hood (or shade) included, which would be very nice to have on sunny California days. The included front and rear lens rubber caps fit perfectly on the scope tube, but I prefer spring loaded flip-up caps. The reticle is laser etched and crisp. The parallax correction knob is located on the left side in the middle next to turrets and you can adjust it from 10 ft to inf. Magnification ring, located as usual on the eyepiece, is operating smoothly and features a dual throw lever system that I like very much. It also features a removable throw lever, which are designed to allow for quick and easy changes to the magnification level of the scope. The lever is positioned at three o’clock positions on the magnification ring (when on low power), providing shooters with a natural grip and easy access. Diopter correction (focus) is also available on the eyepiece end of the scope, which is great. I hate it when the scope does not have such a simple feature as a diopter adjustment. The scope has crystal clear optics, I was blown away! I did not notice any distortions or aberrations at all, which is fantastic. The Primal reticle is etched on the glass and is very sharp. Primal is basically a "post and duplex" (which is also called German #4) + MOA reticle mashup type of reticle. The difference is that the “post and duplex” does not have any windage and holdove compensation markings - just plain crosshairs, and this Primal reticle incorporates intuitive markings and hash points for elevation and windage adjustments, ensuring precise aiming and holdovers at different distances. The posts are much thicker than the crosshair itself, which draws the shooter's eye to the center. It is a great reticle setup for hunting since the bold outer posts ensure that the thin crosshair is much more noticeable to the user's eye. Pro-tip. Because the scope's reticle is extremely simple post and duplex type and does not provide any elevation or windage adjustment guidance, your best bet for zeroing it is to use a laser bore sighter. Just insert it into your barrel and zero your scope's crosshair on its dot. Then on a range, you can finish fine-tuning your aim at 12x magnification according to the manufacturer's guidelines. This will save you tons of ammo. *** TL;DR *** Yes, I definitely recommend this scope to every gun enthusiast. It has ultimately clear optics, magnification from 4x to 16x. Eye relief is outstanding. The reticle is a simple yet highly effective Primal ("post and duplex" + MOA reticle mashup) type, which I like very much for its simplicity and universal applicability. All adjustments work extremely well. Plus, it has parallax adjustment, diopter correction. Also, turrets are zero re-settable and the zoom ring features an integrated throw lever system. What else do you need? Well, I'd love to have reticle illumination and FFP but besides that it's a top of the line, purpose-built, heavy-duty scope that will last forever and is worth every penny. Solid 5-star product in my book. +++ Pros +++ 1) Extremely well built. 2) Exceptionally clear optics. 3) Variable magnification from 4x to 16x. 4) Easy to use "post and duplex" + MOA reticle. 5) Eye relief is outstanding. 6) Turrets are zero re-settable. 7) Integrated throw lever system. 8) Has parallax correction (10 ft to inf). 9) Has diopter correction (+/- 2). 10) All controls are smooth and crisp. 11) Comes with nice lens caps. 12) Lifetime warranty! --- Cons — 1) Second focal plane. 2) Reticle is NOT illuminated. 3) Doesn't include mounting rings. 4) A bit pricey, but worth it.

Nice scope for the money
I’m not super technical when it comes to scopes, but I do know a good scope when I see it, and I really like this scope. It does a good job with enhancing low level light with clarity. It seems to be built tough and rugged. I like scopes that have the flip up covers, as that keeps the lens protected and it’s always there, so there’s no worries about losing it, or it having an odd fit. Sighting it in is not hard and is pretty standard. Overall, it’s a pretty good scope for the money.

Crystal Clear Optics Quick on Target
This scope is perfect for those cold days out on the hunt. It stays clear even when it's cold and you bring it up to take aim, it doesn't fog up. Matter of fact the only thing that would blur the shot is a nasty finger print on the lens. This is a high quality scope that is impressive on my 30-06, and is durable enough to take the rough outdoors. If you are looking for a great quality scope for you rifle, or even your airsoft rifle, then look no further. I am enjoying mine, and each time I look at in or through it, I smile.

Good quality for the price
Nice scope for the price. This is perfect for the hunter and shorter range shooter. I would probably say out to 500 yds. Beyond that, you will really need a more precise and greater power scope. For the price though, this is a nice scope for most.
