Hobe's Country Ham Hocks 2/12 Oz Seasoning Bone DOES NOT REQUIRE REFRIGERATION UNTIL OPENED

My hubby was satisfied. Tasted great for his Hamhock & Beans

Knowing these are salt cured, I washed them well before adding to my bean soup for 2 hours. Still too salty to eat and taste was pretty bad. Tossed everything. Big waste of a good pot of beans. I doubt that you’ll enjoy these.

These Ham Hocks were large and meaty thus the three stars BUT they were incredibly salty. So much so that we could not eat the beans they were prepared with! I need a little help here. If I were to soak the ham hocks in plain water to leech out some of the salt before adding them to the beans, would this work?

buy your ham hock at the grocery store. this was expensive and not very tasty. i bought one at the grocery store with about 4 times the ham on it for less than half the price and the grocery stores tasted better too

I received them inside a box and when i pulled them out I noticed one of the hocks was discolored and the bag looked bad. I looked through the bad and seen white spores with green centers of mold spots all over the hock the inside looked slimy.I tried to just return it immediately but it said not eligible for returns. So Now i just get to spend money to throw in the trash literately. We’ve been waiting with the beans prepped since last night and waited all afternoon for the ham hocks so this was a disappointment. More-so because there’s no recourse or fixing it. Lessons learned never but meats online. Ughhh

Added great flavor to my green pepper soup but a bit in the expensive side.

Not true ham hocks.Only a small portion of a ham hock....

Cooking. too high bring down the cost please
