This adorable welcoming Dutch boy, based on an Ellen Clapsaddle illustration, is a favorite of mine. He matches the little Dutch girl holding a wreath. I adapted and printed them from an antique postcard on heavy luster paper with archival inks, bonded it to hardwood, then cut it out individually with my Excalibur scrolling saw. It's exacting work, but very satisfying. T The Dutch boy measures 3" x 3&1/2" and is enameled gold on the back and sides. He would be a great hostess Thanksgiving gift, an ornament for a cook, or look lovely on a dining room cabinet knob. The Dutch Boy is shipped in an attractive gift box.
