After weeks of at-home recovery for knee replacement, my mother went and broke her hip. I don't know why we never thought of purchasing a tray for her walker when she was recovering for her knee, but now we are in month five of rehabilitation and an occupational therapist recommended purchasing a tray to hep her move food from the kitchen countertop to her seat to eat. What a simply, yet impactful, suggestion! This has really helped grow her independence. She uses it for so much more than transporting food - she can move papers, laptop, laundry, etc.We looked at the options and thought this tray, with the walking cut-out, to be the smartest choice. The tray is easy to add/remove from her standard-size wheeled walker. The slight cutout allows her to be close enough to the handles to provide support as she walks; other trays would cause her to lean forward to put weight on the walker, which would put off her center of gravity. Her in-home Occupational Therapist was pleased to see that she had this tray for the reasons previously stated. The tray is sturdy and level. The cup holder is useful for carrying small items, but her favorite coffee mug doesn't fit the indentation. (That isn't a fault of the tray - - she has an odd shaped mug.) I only wish we had thought of this five months ago when we were helping her rehab from knee surgery. I would 100% recommend!

This tray is sturdy, fits well and is so handy for carrying items from one place to another. Makes using a Walker so much safer because you can use both hands instead of trying to balance items on an arm and push with only one hand.

This product is so great. It fits nicely on top of your walker handles and has a little carved out space on your side so you are able to walk a little closer into the walker space. Very sturdy and with a good cup holder with a slot for a coffee cup handle also. Has an edge around the tray so if you happen to spill something it will be contained. Worth every penny.

I like the face that it has a curved side so that I stand up straight while walking. Fits my walker well. Easy on and off. I use it to serve meals to my husband and myself. We are both mobility impaired.

The media could not be loaded. This tray is a well thought out design, much better than other designs currently being sold on Amazon.The most noteworthy feature is the indented shape on the walking side, which allows you to stand at the appropriate distance/i.e. close to the walker (as you should be able to do).On the other hand, with the walker turned around the other way, the tray extends forward, providing a comfortable table/ledge to eat from while seated in a chair. It is stable, durable, and easy to clean.I noted at first installation, and from reading other Amazon reviews, that the installation and fit of the tray was not obvious. Indeed, trays were returned because they ‘did not fit’ when in actuality the purchaser simply wasn’t positioning it on the walker correctly.Putting the tray on, and taking it off, is very easy – if you know how! The trick is to put the front on first at a slight downward angle, then press down the back (walking side) to fix it in place. You’ll then find the tray is both secure and level. I’ve added photos, and made a video so you can see just how easy it is to do.Another thoughtful performance feature is the spill edge. When a drink spills (and it will – accidents happen!) the spill edge traps the liquid without overflowing. Just for fun, I poured two pints of water on the tray to see what would happen, and it held it (as you may guess I spilled it when I went to empty it) .This tray cost a little bit more to buy, but I’m glad I paid for that.I am 90 years old and this easy to use, practical tray, alongside its convenience has made my walker measurably more useful, and I’m thankful for that also.

I love the tray . It gives my husband so much more independence. He’s now able to retrieve food, coffee and all other items by himself.

I place a wet paper towel under a cup/glass/dish/plate to keep it from sliding when I walk my food to where I eat. Very important for potential purchasers to know is that the indention for cup/glassware is a total joke. I own no such utensil that could possibly fit in that small space. Hence, thank goodness for wet paper towels. The tray does fit my walker.

The tray is sturdy and a great size- can fit dinner plate plus some. I like how it has a little space that curves in to still allow for proper walking INSIDE the walker and not have to walk with arms out forward.Love this tray- great quality. Only thing I would change is making the cup holder just a tad bigger. Favorite coffee tumbler doesn’t fit. But still give it 5 stars for the great quality and thoughtfulness of safety when designing the product
