Made game streaming over WiFi possible for me!
Setup and Compatibility: 5/5Setting up this router was a breeze. I paired it with TP-Link's AXE5400 Tri-Band Wi-Fi 6E Bluetooth 5.2 PCI Express Adapter on my computer, and the two worked together seamlessly right out of the box.Performance: 5/5Let's talk about why I needed this upgrade in the first place—poor performance on Steam In-Home and Nvidia streaming on my previous (Plume) mesh network. The AX5400 has completely obliterated those issues. With its Wi-Fi 6 capabilities, I've experienced smooth, lag-free gaming and streaming like never before.Range and Signal Strength: 5/5I live in a multi-storey house, and the AX5400 manages to effortlessly send a strong Wi-Fi signal across all three floors. There have been zero dropouts, which is a huge win for any router.Special Mention: Game StreamingThis setup has completely transformed my gaming experience. I've been streaming games from my PC to my Shield TV and Steam Deck using Moonlight & Steam In Home, and it's nothing short of extraordinary. It even runs at 2K wirelessly without a hitch, despite the computer being on a different floor.Advanced Features: 4.5/5The router supports dual bands and offers a plethora of advanced options for those who like to tinker. Whether it's setting up a VPN, parental controls, or QoS settings to prioritize gaming traffic, this router has got you covered. It also has Alexa integration but honestly it's pointlessReliability: 5/5Not once have I had to perform the dreaded "unplug and plug back in" ritual since setting up this router. It’s been consistently stable, which is more than I can say for my previous mesh system.Value for Money: 4.5/5While it's certainly on the pricier side, you get what you pay for. The performance gains, robust feature set, and sheer reliability make it worth every penny.Overall: 5/5If you're in the market for a Wi-Fi upgrade, especially for gaming or high-demand streaming tasks, look no further than the TP-Link AX5400. This router has exceeded my expectations in every way and solved issues I've struggled with for the last 5 or so years.Pros:Outstanding performance for game streamingRobust signal strength across multiple floors (I've binned my mesh network)FAST speedsReliable and stable connectionCons:None that I've found yet

Had this for 2 years now. Really helped with coverage
I bought this 2 years ago now, I wanted to wait a decent time before I reviewed, then it dropped out of my head. Only reminded when Amazon recommended a new router, but this is still really working great for me.wifi coverage with virgin media router was not the best. And with working from home I really needed something reliable and gave decent coverage and speed. This is amazing. With multiple smart devices connected at once, I was able to prioritise specific devices to suit my needs, and to also set up a guest wifi for visitors.Fantastic router, so easy to set up, app control is amazing, great value for money

Great signal, but very basic security and configuration features
The router is easy to setup, looks good, is wall mountable, and has a fantastic wi-fi signal (far surpassing the limited Virgin media hub range). I now have fast internet speeds all throughout the house, and garden. The signal at the back of our garden (about 20 metres from the router) is weak, but the internet is usable. My main concerns with this router is the lack of granularity with regards to some of the features.Firewall config is a simple enable/disable of features. There is no firewall ruleset available - even from within the admin web console (where supposedly 'advanced' config can take place). The paid for security feature, HomeShield Pro, is not fit for purpose either, and doesn't add much value. The only main benefits are an IPS (which again, it's only a case of 'enable or disable' - there is no ability to configure this further, add your own custom signatures, disable rules, etc, and when the IPS detects something, the information provided does not help investigating the alert. I received a number of 'port scan' alerts (which are common for any device connected to the internet). The HomeShield Pro didn't provide any additional details around what it found - no details of srcIP, dstip, protocol, port number, port scan type (SYN/UDP/Xmas tree, etc), and no pcap was provided (something most IPS's provide).Without these details, it's not possible to discern if this was a true positive or false positive, or to tune the IPS to eliminate false positives, so it's pretty pointless.Web filtering provided by HomeShield Pro isn't anything special, and you can get similar features by configuring DNS to point to a service that provides filtering, e.g. Quad9, OpenDNS, CleanBrowsing, etc.Personally, I have chosen to put the TP-Link router behind my Sophos XG firewall, which provides far greater protection, and full granularity of controls.Average users should be ok with the limited features provided by HomeShield Pro, however if you are a networking/cybersecurity engineer and used to configuring 'proper' firewalls/IPS devices, you'll be very disappointed at the rudimentary features provided by HomeShield Pro. I certainly wouldn't pay extra for these limited features! You are much better off placing the router behind a proper firewall (Sophos/pfSense/Untangle, etc), and/or configuring DNS to point to a free web filtering service.

Perfect
I rarely compliment sellers but this seller deserve it, most of Amazon packaging are unsettling and suspicious like it's been opened before this is sealed tight, And the router itself with 18 devices connected is a huge difference, this is one of the best personal investments of this year, and the app is amazing with it's notifications, just a perfect router, used Ethernet on cat6a on TV and Gaming console, even better performance

Not plug and play but not overly complicated either .
We get great a signal throughout our single level 3Brm house .More modem than 95% of people will ever need .

Great buy!
One of my best Amazon purchases. Router is easy to install and manage on the app. Product came in perfect condition, which is rare for most Amazon purchases. Highly recommend it!
