Customer Service!
Customer service 5 stars! First: I ordered 3 sets of blinds. All three with the solar charger. They install easily and work right out of the box. One of the solar chargers had a bent metal piece and would not work. I contacted Denfoon through Amazon app and they asked me to send a picture and they would gladly replace the solar charger. I sent the picture, and about 10 days later the replacement arrived. Each blind comes with its own remote, but these windows are all next to each other so I ordered the multi system remote and it’s easy to program. Now with one push all three lower and raise at the same time. Very happy with product and even happier that the company stands behind its product. If you have a standard window size, these blinds are the best value on Amazon!

You need my review to make these “smart” but you’ll love these blinds once you have installed them!
This review is for all of the buyers who are ready to pull their hair out trying to make these blinds “smart” Step one install the blinds. Step two make sure each remote works for each separate blind. You do not need the multi channel remote if you want to hook this up to Alexa. Step three unscrew the back of each remote and take the top portion out and flip over Step four press the top small button on the blind unit located on the right and hold it until the blind goes up and down just for a quick second. If it starts moving completely up or down you screwed up do it again. Step five once the blind does the quick up and down take your remote and push the toggle to “admin” and hold down the S button until the blind does the quick up and down again Step six use the bottom button and bring the blind down to whatever length you want it to stop at Step seven once it is at the stop length you want press and hold the down button arrow on the back of the remote and hold it until the blind does the quick up and down again Step eight now use the up button and bring the blind all the way up to the top where you want it to be when you use it. Step nine once it’s in the right place press and hold the top up arrow until the blind does the quick up and down motion. Step ten switch the remote back to “user” and screw the remote back together Step eleven breathe you’re almost done Step twelve download the Tuya app. It’s orange and free don’t download the blue one Step thirteen you need to own the “hub” if you didn’t buy it go to the main page of the seller and buy it ~ it’s cheap and you need it Step fourteen place the hub in a block. They don’t give you the block so get a block and plug it into the wall and press the front power button until you see the little blue light blinking Step fifteen go to the Tuya app and click the + button and add device and it will search for the hub. It may take a few tries. It’s not you is the hub breathe. Step sixteen once the hub is detected you can go ahead and add your blinds Step seventeen to add blinds to the hub all you need to do is hold down the top right button on the blind until it does the quick up and down thing again like what happen when you used the remote to select the measurements Step eighteen once the blind does the up and down click on the app that it worked and do it for each blind you installed Step nineteen now go into your Alexa app and go to the bottom of the app where you see the three lines different sizes Stop twenty click the three lines and then click “skills and games” and search for the Tuya app and follow the prompts to sync the apps together Step twenty one once both apps are connected in the Alexa app create a “group” and add all of the blinds for the one room you want the Alexa to control and go to the bottom and click custom name. I named mine “blinds” Step twenty two you can add the blinds to your room as well in the Alexa app Step twenty three once the Alexa app says it’s all saved say “Alexa close my blinds” she will said “ok” and you’re DONE If in the case the Alexa app opens and closes the blinds and it doesn’t hit the measurements you first did all you have to do is unscrew the back of the remote and follow the same instructions I gave you above. You do not need to go back into the Tuya app. Just fix the measurements on the back of the inside of the remote and then ask Alexa to close them again. You will want to rip your hair out, cry, kick, scream, but I did the heavy lifting for you. Took me about 5 hours to piece together various videos online to get mine to work and now they are perfect. These are worth the money. They aren’t silent and they aren’t fast but who cares it’s $75 vs 150+ and do the same thing as the expensive ones. Save your money and use my review and go wild in your home. Before you know it you’ll be like me already planning the next room of your house with more of these. You’re welcome!!

HomeAssistant - Not exactly “Smart”, still does the job
A lot of the reviews seem AI generated, but I actually bought this thing and thought I’d share my experience . I chose these because it’s the cheapest smart blinds you can get. The old saying you get what you pay for comes to mind. As non smart blinds, this thing is pretty slick. Easy enough install, sturdy construction, arrived as advertised with all the hardware you need, even drywall anchors (bonus points for that). You can adjust the maximum high and minimal height the blinds extend to. They block out all light coming from my window. The RF remote feels cheap but works just fine. Instructions were clear enough, but could stand to be reviewed by a non-tech-savvy native English speaker. The solar panel is awesome and so far as heald up great, but the connector on it is rather thick, you should take this plugs thickness in mind when mounting the blinds as it needs about a 1/2inch of clearance. I ordered the 35” set, but ended up having to grind down about 1mm of plastic on both sides because it turns out my window was just slightly shorter than 35” and I really wanted that inner fitment. Ez enough with a rotary sander. My fault for not measuring the window to the 1/16 of an inch. My biggest issue with these is they claim to be smart. It’s not super clear from their posting, but in order to make them “smart” you need to buy their $35 adapter connects to your phone (Tuya app) then sends 443MHz RF to the blinds to mimic the remote. I did not want to buy that and used my existing BroadLink RM4 Pro I have for controlling IR/RF devices with HomeAssistant. I was able to learn the codes from the remote pretty easily and tie it into some basic automations. (So the blinds open when my wake up alarm goes off, it’s the best feeling ever!) . I keep saying “smart” because in my mind these are not truly smart. They have no state. I cannot check if the blinds are open or if they blinds are closed or what % open they are, I can only send “open” , “close”, and “stop” commands via RF. It still works for basic automations such as: “Close the blinds at sunset”, “Open the blinds when my alarm goes off”. If these things are possible with their little adapter I’ll buy it and update my review, but it doesn’t seems like it could be possible. In my mind these are dumb blinds that have a remote, and you can mimic the remote with HomeAssistant or a FlipperZero. If you don’t want to tie them into complex home automations and can live without state then these are the best remote controlled blinds you can buy for the price. Knowing what I know now and my goals of home automation via HomeAssistant, I probably would have spent the $150 for a set of ikeas zigbee blinds. I may still try to tear these apart and control them with an ESP32, or add some Halifax sensors to the top and bottom to be able to tell if they are open or closed. But for now I am happy with what I have

Don't buy!
awful Didn't work from the start.I'm disgusted with these blinds. I had to pay someone to put them up and now after all this aggravation I have to pay someone to take them down and go 40 miles to the nearest drop off location to return them. I have chatted with Amazon for over 3 hours and 6 people trying to resolve this issue to no avail. I would never recommend these blinds

Convenience, Efficiency, and Style
I couldn’t be happier with these motorized blinds! The solar panel is thick enought to keep the blinds running even during cloudy days and power outages, and I don’t have to worry about frequent charging or batteries. The remote control works flawlessly, and the motor is quiet. The blackout fabric really does block out all the light, and it helps keep our room cooler during the day. Plus, the sleek, cordless design looks great and feels much safer for homes for the kids or pets. Installation was straightforward. Being able to customize the size was a big bonus, and the blinds fit our windows perfectly. Great value for the blinds.
