These mittens are super warm and comfortable. They are well made.

These are thick and warm with room for hand warmers if needed. My husband is on blood thinners and I finally convinced him to try mittens, he said his hands have never been this warm in gloves. We are outside a lot in a NY state winter.

These really ARE warm and protective, warmer than the gloves I've been wearing when I shovel or blow snow from my Wisconsin driveway. A real bargain at this price. My only caveat is that because of the rough wool outer layer, these will snag when you encounter anything projecting, any metal clasp, and they will get snagged by Velcro fasteners. So they tend to catch and get pulled out and lose cloth on occasion. And they will have ice and snow adhere to them on the outside, so they must be dried between use. But if you don't mind that and are willing to replace a pair after every winter season due to this wear, they work just fine. Good value for money, given that similar mittens with sleek, GoreTex outer fabric cost four times as much.

Warm and comfy. Size is nice.

Used them while snow blowing and temperatures in the teens. No heated handles and my hands stayed warm. Great Christmas gift.

I liked them a lot -- comfy, warm, fit well. That's all I ask for. However, on day 2, the inner fleece lining split apart and that pretty much ended the warmth/insulation. I liked them enough that I'm returning them for a second pair and hope these stay together longer.

Initial impressions after a few uses.... PROS - Super warm, soft, and stretchy - Both mittens can be used on the other hand without noticing a preformed orientation (very cool!) - Inner fleece is NICE....makes for easy on/off and provides additional warmth - This blue....as well as the green (purchased pair of each) look good and go well with most other colors of clothing - Fit is perfect as is, but stretch enough to use as overmitts...greatly improving versatility. - Machine washed in cold/delicate cycle, and dry on low with NO evidence of shrinking or deformation. - Incredible value! CONS - Seem to "wear" a bit faster than other knit mittens I've used...ie notice impressions in /flattening of material after doing something like shoveling snow. Not unexpected, but hoping they will hold up over time. Not pilling, just compression/wear. Minor nit at this point! **UPDATE** After using multiple times for various activities (including mountain biking, snow shoveling), concern about wear was unfounded. Aforementioned initial wear pretty much stayed at that point, so still plenty of loft and look great.

absolouty love these - I am a big man, with big hands and fingers and these XL fit perfect. nice and warm and comfy.

I would have given 5☆'s but took of one as i just got them and i have only worn them 2 times and the lining is all coming undone. I can fix it but i should not have to ! I bought the gray they look great !

If you think you need a medium (according to seller's description) then you should order a large for sure. If you think you need a small, buy a large. As for the quality, I guess time will tell, but they seem warm. I think they are warm because of the lining. I have no idea if the are actually 70% wool. They could be 100% polyester for all I know. If the seller's sizing wasn't so off, I would have given them 4 stars.
