Very good project motor
I have purchased several of these for various projects. They are very strong and very quiet. I’m very pleased with these!

Variable speed would be better.
I bought this motor to automate my drill press table lift. I got tired of hand cranking it. It's odd that drill press companies have all sorts of electronic features regarding motor speeds, depth control etc. But I haven't found one with an electronic table lift. If anyone sells one of those, I'd be interested. I had to make an interface box to connect the motor to the hand crank. And I powered it with a Dewalt 20 volt battery. It all works fine. But I'd prefer it have a variable speed. It's very slow, which is good for micro control. However, when you need to move the table a significant distance, it's pretty slow. With variable speed I would have given it a 5 star rating.

12 volt discharge block chute door
Fabing up my 1st ever a chute door on my zero turn mower. 50 rpm was to quick, bought a rheostat, dialed it down, now it works perfectly with my 12v system, now I just push a button. 🙂

Great value for the price.
Used this motor with a variable speed controller and 24vdc power supply to make a power feed for the x-axis of my bench top milling machine. At 100% power it moves the table at a rate of 5~ inches per minute. Works great but to bad they didn’t offer a higher rpm motor.

Great for fabrication projects
Should be 5 stars, but it's tough to find or fabricate a coupler for a D shaft.
