Glass Bottles Are The Best Choice.
It is what it is. Sparkling water in a glass bottle. Costs more than plastic bottles, but who want to drink water out of plastic these days.

Excellent gentle sparkling spring water from South of England, as good as Evian IMO if not better.
Excellent gentle sparkling spring water, best served cold with ice...sell it in local upmarket Turkish restaurant on the drinks menu for £4.95 a bottle, loved it so much with our meal we set about finding suppliers. However since I wrote this review disappointed you have put the price up on Amazon.

A staple for me as I hate plastic, yet ...
Yes, I know glass bottles take more energy to ?make? and transport, but we should be able to solve those energy related issues in time. This is very likeable water, which would be among my favourites anyway - not particularly salty tasting, medium fizziness which is retained overnight - and at least it's British, so some reduction in transport miles. My only issues are that occasionally deliveries get missed at the last minute, I suspect because of breakages, and yet, the packaging is way over the top and uses bubble wrap! Please, Amazon and seller (a) don't simply enclose an already large box in an even larger one - it's not going to provide any more real protection - and (b) if you must pack around the bottles - and I understand why - find a compostable alternative to the heinous bubble wrap. Amazon has made progress in general recently on eco-friendly packaging; given my motivation for buying this Hildon water, it's high time the same happened here.

1 empty bottle? How could this happen?
One bottle out of the 12 was empty. The package was properly shrink wrapped, no bottles were broken, all the bottles were properly sealed but nevertheless one bottle contained nothing.Having only just received this water I can pass no comment on product quality.
