Perfect as a tie dye tray
This works great for my tie dye projects. Ample space, sufficient depth and great price. It is solid though, so cleaning it could’ve been easier if it was flexible. The n the flip side, being rigid it can be moved without tipping over its contents.

It’s not just a boot tray.
I love this boot tray, however I use it to keep my kitty’s litter box area neat and tidy. My top entry litter box fits perfectly in the tray. When I clean the litter box and dump the waist into the litter genie. If I happen to spill some litter, the tray is perfect for catching it. I keep it on the litter mat, and I have never had a problem with litter getting all over the carpet. I would actually recommend all these products, but specifically the boot tray, as it is durable, fits the litter box perfectly, And when it does get some litter in it, I can take the lid off of the litter box and pour it right back in to the box.

Design merits five stars, but a price over $20 merits only four
For years, my family has been using an AstroTurf-like mat as a shoe tray to let shoes dry and to keep soil off the floor. It did that well, but it didn't prevent heavy snow melt from creeping onto the floor, and that construction made cleaning difficult. When looking for a new mat/tray, therefore, I wanted a product that would have a reasonable capacity for snow melt, be stiff enough to transport footwear during the occasional cleaning, and be easy to clean. These are my observations of our recently purchased Sun Dolphin boot tray:PRO++ Generous 7/8" deep rim and ~1/8" ridges++ Light-weight tray allows easy transport with footwear onboard (challenging with AstroTurf-like or rubber trays)++ Stiffness allows for easy cleaning with tray in one hand and hose in the other++ Easy to clean with a hose for the big bits and with a brush for dried-on soil; some trays have overly intricate or tightly-spaced ridges + Fits four pairs of footwear (photo) + No off-gassingCON-- A month after I purchased it for $17.47, this now costs you $21.62. What is the justification for this 24% price increase? - The tray was delivered packaged in a plastic wrap instead of a protective box. Several areas of this wrap were lacerated from contact against the bottom edge of the tray's rim. Furthermore, although otherwise undamaged, there were several areas of the rim that were discolored (black to gray) from impact (download the photo to see this discoloration at three of the four corners). I have seen this behavior in other darker-colored, hard plastic.UNDECIDED+- Recycled and recyclable? The clincher for my choosing this tray was Sun Dolphin's claim that this is made from 100% recycled plastic and is 100% recyclable. Because I did not see a RIC (Resin Identification Code) stamped anywhere, I sent a message to Sun Dolphin for clarification on their recyclability claim. They did not respond. Finally, we take off our footwear on a launderable rug and then place them in this tray to continue dripping water/snow/mud and to dry. If you intend to remove your footwear while standing in this tray, you may need a skid pad underneath or get a rubber tray, instead.

I repurposed this to go under 20 gallon aquarium
I had bought this for the coming Winter season, but with a leaking aquarium I needed to do something.I had an extra tank, I checked it for leaks, but just in case I decided to use it for the tank instead of wet boots. No leaks, but I feel safer. Now to buy one for my boots.

Strong boot tray
I like the high sides & the sturdiness of the tray. No worries about leaking!
