Description says this uses a MAX97220A, but all that's in the case is a texas instruments pcm chip. I wouldn't have spent even $20 on a simple pcm usb soundcard.

Does not come with built-in battery, only work when connected to power source. Do not waste your money as it will also override your soundcard on your computer and does not produce better sound quality than free downloadable software such as Razer Surround PRO

Makes little or no difference to the volume on my laptop, wasn't compatible with my phone
