Carpuride W702 Motorcycle GPS Carplay Screen, Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto, Portable Car Stereo for Motorbike, 7" Waterproof Touchscreen, Bluetooth Trans, Navigation, Siri.

Haven't used it on the road yet but I've tested it on the bench so to speak and it works as advertised and as seen on numerous you tube reviews so no point in reiterating how seamlessly it all works. I had to do some research into how to fit it to my KTM because of the fixed ball mount system on the back of the unit and not wanting to mount it on the handlebar or similar place because of it's size and also I don't want to be looking down all the time when I'm navigating. Decided the best arrangement for me involves placing it above the dashboard using the Touratech GPS bracket and RAM mounts RAM-B-408-37-62U AND RAP-B-201U-A - basically a ball mount with a short double socket arm. I also got the pin lock security knob that replaces the existing non secure knob on the double ball socket. Using this kit I mounted the ball connecter on the Carpuride to the RAM kit and then onto the GPS bracket. Cables easily secured neatly out of the way and plugged into the aux power outlet below the dash, it's worked out really well because the 12v aux outlet on the KTM powers on and off with the ignition so no worries about draining the battery. All the kit provided with the W702 is quality and includes a choice of electrical connections to the bike; I used the USB connection, the direct to battery connection includes an inline safety fuse and if you use this remember to turn the unit off, there is a button on the side, when you park up or it will flatten your battery! Fantastic kit for the price, solid construction with a 2 year warranty and a Prime £40 discount to boot! I'm very happy with my purchase and feeling positive that it will operate as, or better than expected. Only time will tell ..... So I will try to remember to update this review once I've done a thousand miles or so. So, I've done a thousand miles in all weather and it is definitely holding up and proving to be reliable so far, the rain/wind doesn't seem to bother it and all operations still work seamlessly without any glitches. Works with Calimoto, Waze, Google maps and others. Very bright at night but you can tone down the brightness in the settings on the unit; took me a while to find this and can be accessed via the home widget then select settings. I purchased the unit as it seemed a good price, quick delivery and very nice unit with a lovely display, very first ride out the unit come loose with vibration and the in nit dropped off with the ball joint attached marking the paint work on my tank and scratching the unit. When I got home I was amazed that the ball joint was held on by the smallest screw which obviously came loose with vibration, I refit a screw and applied a bit of silicone to help with vibration but unfortunately the unit came off whilst on the motorway and.droppes to the side of the bike held by the cable. Very happy with the unit, unfortunately a very bad flaw in the fixings, the unit is to heavy for that type of fixing and vibration, I would not buy again very disappointed.. Had to make my own bracket. UPDATE 16/05/2024 As per my previous update, the company contacted me with concerns about my issues and the product and assured me that the design team are looking into the bracket system on this product, and attempting to redesign it. They also offered me a compromise concerning my issues which was more than satisfactory, customer services are brilliant and it is good to see a company take these matters seriously.

Easy to use, clear screen and good value for money. Had a problem connecting my Xiaomi phone, I contacted Carpuride who sent an update. They dealt my with my problem very quickly.

I was very sketchy at the weigh-up between the Carpuride and Chigee products - ultimately I wanted something that'd let me see a larger map, interact with it if needs be when safe and ultimately wouldn't break the bank - thus Carpuride it was. Since having this and installing I can say I've *mostly* been satisfied - there's foibles however and I needed to setup an automation on my iPhone to automatically set the W702 to my audio output as well as on the unit itself to set sound to go through a specific output (as otherwise it would try to play through speakers on the unit and I'm sorry but why the heck anyone, ever, would want tinny, tiny on-board speakers? Carpuride - please, don't bother in future). Fitting it is absolutely fine - I went with an anti-theft fitting rather than the standard on the arm, more to inconvenience anyone than directly stop them as being pragmatic all the unit has to stop this is undoing some screws. I *do* like that it comes with an arm and mount though, so extra points due there as nobody wants the hassle of buying these seperately. Once in it's the expected of wiring into the bikes power, which I did via a Healtech Thunderbox unit, because who likes hassle. It starts and stops with the bike this way and there's no real bells or whistles beyond this. I've found that since using this for some time now, it will spontaneously disconnect, then re-connect and sometimes also go *off* whatever screen I've put it on. This is annoying, sometimes it corrects itself and sure it only takes a single poke or two (sometimes) to put it back, but is inconvenient. You very much get what you pay for and it does leave me wondering: if Carpuride can get away with selling this at the price they do....where exactly is the extra money going when looking at Chigee or other competitors? From my understanding: beyond camera capabilities (which even then are far from high-spec) nothing extra. My 2p on this is it should come with a screen protector as standard, lose the on-board speakers and also be setup to, as default, use whatever audio output the phone is currently using to save the hassle. Having a website that gives support for it including the latest firmware would also go a long way to giving customer satisfaction and confidence.

La mia nuova auto è dotata di Android Auto utilizzabile in modalità wireless, la trovo una delle funzionalità più utili rispetto ai vecchi navigatori brandizzati, la possibilità di utilizzare le applicazioni del proprio telefono compatibili sullo schermo grande e la possibilità di utilizzare diverse software di navigazione è impareggiabile. Acquistando questo dispositivo Carpuride la promessa era quella di poter avere queste funzionalità anche sulla moto, l'ho acquistato è installato sulla mia Guzzi V85TT, nella confezione sono presenti gli accessori per il montaggio a manubrio e con gli snodi in dotazione è possibile posizionarlo al meglio, il collegamento si può fare direttamente sulla batteria con il cavo in dotazione o sulla porta USB se presente (deve fornire però almeno 2A di corrente), ho optato per la prima soluzione, in meno di un'ora tutto era pronto per la prima prova. Devo dire che sono rimasto sorpreso dal funzionamento e dalla qualità, le funzionalità di Android Auto sono le stesse che ho in auto, la visibilità è ottima anche sotto il sole e la stabilità con la staffa fornita e buona anche in caso di sterrato o buche, ho collegato anche l'interfono bluetooth del mio casco senza problemi, c'è solo il limite che al momento il dispositivo non prevede in modalità gateway bluetooth il collegamento di due dispositivi bluetooth contemporaneamente, questo non consente di collegare anche il casco del passeggero nello stesso momento. Dall'assistenza di Carpuride mi hanno detto che è una funzionalità che implementeranno in futuro. Dopo alcune uscite in modo devo dire che il dispositivo non mi ha deluso, mi ha anzi sorpreso oltre le aspettative iniziali, l'assistenza è ottima e rapida, ho chiesto se era possibile acquistare a parte l'elemento di aggancio per il supporto sul dispositivo, elemento in plastica soggetto ad usura togliendo e rimettendo in dispositivo sulla staffa da manubrio, mi hanno inviato il ricambio gratuitamente! Consiglio quindi questo dispositivo a chiunque voglia attrezzare la propria moto di una funzionalità oramai standard anche sulle automobili, il navigatore integrato sul cruscotto di cui la mia moto era dotata praticamente non lo sto utilizzando più da quando ho il Carpuride.

Installé sur une BMW R1250RT 2022. Mon Iphone se trouve à sa place dans l'emplacement du tableau de bord avec son alimentation USB et c'est c'est tout. Le Carpuride est fixé à l'avant du tableau de bord avec un système RAM MOUNT (boule sur platine autocollante) voir photo. Tout est à portée de main gps musique etc ... c'est du Carplay comme dans une voiture, l'écran est formidable, très clair très grand, plein soleil pas de problème Il est fixé sur l'avant du tableau de bord. Petite critique : si je démarre la moto APRES avoir attendu le démarrage du Carpuride , au moment du démarrage de la moto le Carpuride redémarre , ce n’est pas grave mais je ne sais pas quoi faire pour régler ce petit problème. A part ce détail cet appareil est vraiment excellent. Je recommande.

Très bon produit, simple d’installation et d’utilisation, l’écran est particulièrement réactif ce qui rend très agréable son utilisation. Le SAV est très très réactif et compétant en cas de problème/panne. Je recommande vivement ce produit à tout les motards !

Ich habe mir den Carpuride W702 als Erweiterung für mein Motorrad geholt, um unterwegs endlich kabelloses CarPlay nutzen zu können, und ich bin begeistert! Der 7-Zoll-Touchscreen ist schön groß, sehr klar und auch bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung erstaunlich gut ablesbar. Besonders auf langen Touren ist die Navigation über Apple Maps oder Google Maps eine riesige Erleichterung. Endlich muss ich nicht mehr mit dem Handy Halter herumhantieren. Die Installation war kinderleicht, einfach Strom anschließen, Bluetooth koppeln, fertig. Innerhalb weniger Sekunden war das Gerät startklar. Besonders gefällt mir, dass das Gerät wasserdicht ist; ich war schon im Regen unterwegs, und alles hat problemlos funktioniert. Ein weiteres Highlight ist die Bluetooth-Funktion, mit der ich Musik hören und Anrufe direkt über den Bildschirm steuern kann. Siri funktioniert ebenfalls super – Sprachbefehle werden zuverlässig erkannt, was beim Fahren natürlich ein Sicherheitsplus ist. Fazit: • ✅ Klare, helle Anzeige • ✅ Kabelloses CarPlay & Android Auto funktionieren tadellos • ✅ Einfache Montage • ✅ Wasserdicht & robust • ✅ Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis Ich kann den Carpuride W702 wirklich jedem Motorradfahrer empfehlen, der sein Bike smarter machen möchte.
