I used these as a pigtail for my laptops. Easy to use. They lock on really great. The end of my other ethernet cables the clip was broke and I like these because you push in and they lock in even though the end pieces missing. Works really great. And fast speed. Good cable quality flexibility great.

I used this Cat extension to connect to an already existing setup. I already had a huge section of Cat cable routed and hidden for my previous entertainment setup. Well after getting some new furniture, the already routed cable was going to be too short. I WAS NOT prepared to undo all of that previous work. This extension saved the day. It worked out great and there is absolutely no reduction in my internet speed after install. Fantastic product!

No issues using this network cable extension.

Used this to connect a no-tools RJ-45 male connector to a router. The form factor of the no-tools was considerably larger than the standard RJ-45 connector and wouldn't fit in the router opening to the female RJ-45 connector. This extension cable made connecting to the router a breeze.

I'm always hearing from (mostly) mobile HAMs about how the mic cable is too short and it can easily be pulled from your hand if you relax your hand accidentally as you are talking. That kind of 'pull' can quickly take its toll and the next thing you know, your mic doesn't work. The mics that have MANY buttons usually have an Ethernet-type of connection (mine is 8 wires and I have another with 6 wires. They are all connected to these really cheap, plastic ends that are a nightmare to try and fix. Most ppl don't even try because they can't solder/don't have the time or don't have the equipment. THIS cable still has the plastic ends, but they are 'housed' to reduce possible hits from it moving around as you talk. I haven't even got my unit figured-out completely here in my house (I want to KNOW IT before I mount it in the car!) and I had mic cable length issues already. It would be farther away in my car, too. I don't have that problem anymore. At this writing, this feels like a very solidly built cable! And, I don't have that problem of the mic cable pulling back AT ALL. It's only 3 feet long, but makes a huge difference. Even though the cable isn't 'coiled' to help avoid the mic getting yanked out of the jack, the mic cable it came with IS 'coiled' and absorbs a *YANK* on the cable without breaking anything. It also reaches to the back seat JIC you have another HAM or 3rd-party check-in. They won't have to lean forward and pull on the mic just to talk. I'll update this once I finish learning the radio I bought it for (iCOM 2300H) and use it in the 'real world' for awhile. ~ Mr Q.A. ~
