A good fun birthday present .It’s amazing to watch grow and has had a harvest of mushrooms to eat .

Bought this as a gift for my partner and was sceptical about whether or not it would work, knowing how particular mushrooms can be and also having heard that 'grow you own' kits can be a bit hit and miss. I thought it would be a novel gift regardless. To my surprise, the mushrooms have actually grown really well! My partner is now looking forward to harvesting them when they're ready.

Very expensive experiment. Got one small crop. Emailed support for advice and got no reply. Mushrooms didn't look like pictures in guide. Disappointing. Didn't risk eating them

Loved this.It's fun and easy produced lots of mushrooms, which were tasty,takes a while to start growing but they grow really quickly

We've grown mushrooms from kits previously and it was just a case of soaking them and leaving the box somewhere cool. Simple and productive.This kit, despite carefully following the instructions down to the last detail, produced hardly enough mushrooms for one slice of toast. We followed the instructions for a second harvest and it produced two, small mushrooms that were hardly worth picking.Got to admit, we gave up after that. Disappointing.**** After submitting this review, the company got in touch and offered to send a replacement. This replacement has been excellent! Same process, but this time such a good crop of mushrooms are bursting out of it that they hardly have space. I'd thoroughly recommend. We'll have to see if a second crop is as good, but it's looking highly positive.

This product was initially great. Kids really enjoyed seeing the mushrooms grow and we had a really good crop. The mushrooms were tasty. We only had one batch so a bit of an expensive novelty.

Well I have never had anything so interesting it looks just like the advert I have already had two lots to eat with my meal they taste very nice I have also got meany more to eat I didn’t think they would grow so quickly just the thing if you want your children to see how things grow they wouldn’t get board watching them grow. They can also eat them so how proud they would feel because they planted them
