LIQUI MOLY Synthoil Race Tech GT1 SAE 10W-60 | 5 L | Fully synthetic engine oil | SKU: 2024

I have run this oil in both my Twin Cam and M8 Harley Davidson's for a while now. Works excellent. Much quieter in the hot weather and seems to run cooler also. I live in the North East and ride into late October with no issue. Just do a good warm up in the early spring or late fall. It is pricey but very good oil and I have tried several different synthetics. This stuff is the best.

Considering that the quality & performance of this 10W-60 is as good as or better than the Castrol, the math makes this an absolute no-brainer. The cheapest store for the Castrol is probably O'Reilly Auto Parts, and they currently want $13/liter (don't even ask the dealership what they charge!), so for 10 liters, the pre-tax cost is $130. 10 liters of the Liqui Moly (at the current price of $40/5 liters) is $80 (pre-tax). That's a savings of $50 (38% less). To validate the performance, the first thing I look at is the oil temperature while driving. For my E92 M3 (last of the V8's), the oil temperature runs a little bit cooler than the Castrol I used to use, so that's a good indication. The second thing I look at is how the oil appears when changing it. I went 6000 miles the first time I used the Liqui Moly, and it looked brand new when I had it changed. The next time I went 8000 miles, and the service guys said it looked new. Not sure I'll take it any further in the future, but overall, I am totally impressed.

This is a quality synthetic oil from Germany that I have utilized several times in my 2009 BMW M3. In between my yearly oil changes I have had great service from the oil , smooth engine performance , and virtually no oil usage. Tests on the used oil by Blackstone Labs confirm the oil is protecting my engine as Liqui Moly has stated it would. It isn't an inexpensive oil but it is a high quality oil and you get what you have paid for. Liqui Moly is one of two oils I will only use in my M3 and Amazon is the best source in getting this oil.

I've been using LIQUI MOLY products since the first service on my 2022 MotoGuzzi V85. I've also been sending in samples to a lab for anaylisis (Blackstone Labs). I am happy to report that with 14K+ on the engine, the oil is doing it's job and protecting all the whirly, spinny bits. They even recommended extending oil change intervals based on the data. I can't speak to Fuel efficiency, I tend to have a real heavy wrist but it's within reason at 40-50 MPG. I haven't noticed any excessive oil use.

I realize it’s subjective - but I’ve used Mobil One, Swepco, Total and a couple other oils along the way. Every time I use LiquiMoly, it is a noticeable difference - just in how the car’s motor sounds, and feels under the pedal. I’m absolutely convinced, and many of my friends report similar experiences with this oil. It’s good stuff and I highly recommend it.

Can’t go wrong

BMW recommends this oil in particular for their M Powered high performance cars. I recently put this oil in my 1994 BMW 530i (E34) with the M60B30 V8 engine. It is not an M Powered engine, but this oil has revived it. It is running much, much better than before. Seems to run quieter and also acceleration seems a bit quicker. As other users have pointed out, it should be called Liqui Gold! I felt I needed this oil for the extra protection it provides during spirited driving. I don't drive the E34 hard all the time, but now when I do, I know the engine is a lot safer with this oil lubricating it. Very good product! I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Claimed to be the best

This is the only oil I'll use in my Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. It was also less expensive than going to the dealer. With free shipping, it's a great valve and insures my engine is protected.
