I've never had the best eyesight and getting older certainly isn't helping. I do a lot of work on gadgets that have small parts and labels with tiny print. I finally decided that I needed to invest in a good magnifying glass. I decided to give this one a try because it's lighted but I didn't really know what to expect given its low price. This one really does a great job for me. I can now see even the tiniest print and everything is clear as a bell. I store it on a shelf in a 1 gallon size ziplock bag to keep it dust-free. I can't really comment on it's scratch resistance because I'm very careful not to let anything come into contact with it, but it seems to be well built so that likely won't be a problem. I especially love the rotating handle. It makes it easy to hold the magnifying glass in virtually any orientation, depending on what you're looking at and trying to focus on. Bottom line: Highly recommended.

I've had this magnifier since Feb. 2025. On the plus side, the variable light is handy. On the minus side, it's specified at 5x magnification. I just wish the magnification could also be adjustable, as I think the specs listed are either over-optimistic, or my 80+ year old eyes are worse than I thought. This unit replaced a 2x tool, and the magnification doesn't seem to be that much more.

Item was exactly as advertised and fully meets my requirements. Arrived on time, was on my front porch before 6AM, and carefully placed, so obviously delivered with care. Kudos to the Driver. Thanks, Amazon!

Large screen surface is easy to align and focus, especially when trying to read fine print, that seems to be the norm for instruction and assembly sheets these days? Multi-hued lights make find the best lighting option easy. The handie is nice, but not really to my liking, personal opinion only.
