Our family Christmas gift was a smart TV. It came with a tiny remote control that kept slipping down between cushions and blending in with the leather upholstery. To this day, we have spent more time reading instructions and hunting for the silly little remote than actually watching the thing!At least one problem is solved. We've attached one of these locators to the remote and now we can locate it in no time. It is a clear, loud, and easy-to-follow beacon as to where it went this time.I had another set of locators in the past but all the batteries died and it used an unusual battery number that was hard to locate. I took the set to specialty bulb and battery store and the salesman told me it would be cheaper to buy a new set than to replace those 5 batteries. I was careful, when selecting a set to pick one that uses a common, easy-to-find, and inexpensive battery--and this one does.The product description tells you that the control unit does not come with batteries. (It does) All the locators also come with batteries installed but you have to open them to pull on that little piece of plastic that keeps it from making contact and depleting the batteries. Within minutes, all the units were up and running. At first, since the plastic holder has round but empty openings in which you would assume the batteries would go, I thought that the batteries weren't there.You get little rings that you can use to attach units to items you can clip the locators to (such as my cell phone cover). You also get two-sided gummed circles which are for attaching the locators to the remotes or whatever. These are pretty useless and I instead used those removable 3-M hangers that you would use for hanging pictures or hooks on walls and are much more likely to stay on.

Don't understand 'not loud enuff.' Put receivers in four different places from 10 to 40 feet away. Put one in bottom dresser drawer filled with linens. Next I turned off the tv and spit out my chewing gum. IF I HAD to use hearing aids, I would turn them up. I stood in my living room and punched the transmitter buttons one at a time. No problem. I could hear the one 40 feet away in bottom dresser drawer filled with linens. Now I have to find the car keys that I can' find that prompted me to purchase Cittatrend Key Finder Wireless RF Item Locator and Base Support Beeper Tags, Item finder Phone Locator Wallet Tracker, All Batteries Included (4in1)

I bought this for remote control that always end up missing, for I have a toddler whos always placing it somewhere. It comes with batteries (2032 kind)for the fob, 2 AAA for its remote and key rings for keychain where its intended to be used. However, the color is on the top part while the sound is at the back. Upon placing it on the remote, it blocks the alarm, making it a low sound. So I have to tape it upside down where the color is down and sound is up. Since the alarm is more important of course. It will be much better if the color and the alarm opening for sound is at the same side. Otherwise, it was okay.

This has been a blessing for us in caring for our parents! As it comes with 4 attachments at a very reasonable price, items that are constantly going missing these days (purses, remote controls, etc) are "findable" even when in very odd locations or tucked in among blankets. With a range of 100 feet and a portable base, we can locate missing items anywhere in the house. Great product at a price affordable enough to buy more than one, if needed. AND it comes with all the batteries, ready to go, which is important when things go missing daily.

This thing works as advertised. I'm prone to give 5 stars to any product that does that, even if the write-up says it's lousy just so I know what I'm getting. But in my house I am the commander of the beeper remote, so at least that's one thing that never gets lost! One suggestion for smart phone users is don't try to stick the beeper on the back. Go decorative and attach it to the case like a hanging bauble and it's less likely to detach. You gotta think it's funny to find the beeper without the lost phone anywhere around.

These work great, I was downstairs and outside looking for my keys in the cars when my husband was inside the house heard the alarm beeping upstairs. We lose keys all the time, once we lost keys to my car and found them in back of my brothers truck underneath all the junkyard trash we were getting ready to haul off to the dump. I would say up to 10 ft. The colors are so needed to separate the keys from each other.

I am so glad I purchased this key finder! I have already used it enough to justify its very reasonable cost. The adhesive stickers were useless for my needs but I knew that would be an issue from reading reviews before the purchase. That minor problem was solved with small Velcro strips. I would prefer smaller tags, but overall, I am pleased enough with this product to give it a 5-star rating. The little built-in flashlight is a bonus feature.

I'm always misplacing my keys, phone and TIVO clickers! I bought this unit hoping it would make my finding the few important things I seem to misplace the most, easier to find.. When my unit arrived, I put the locators on the few things I seem to misplace the most, then tested by pushing the buttons on the base, found each one in record time!!! This is an absolute buy to bring sanity back into your life!!

This worked great at first for finding my husband's ever-missing keys for about 10 days. But then it seemed to stop working at any long distances and now it doesn't work at all.

This works well for its intended purpose - finding your keys when you have mislaid them in the house. It give a clear loud beep. It also uses AA batteries for the base station, which are supplied. The built in flashlight could be very useful as well.

Bought this for my husband so he would stop waking me in the morning to help him look for his keys. It’s been a success.

Works well, receivers may be a little big but ok for the sets of keys.
