The lady damask sleeve by slap PA features richly textured damask material which not only feels great to the touch but is also water resistant. The cushioned interior padding helps protect your computer from bumps and bangs, keeping it preserved in pristine condition. The 270 degree zippers allow the sleeve to open around three of the four sides, making access easy while showcasing the quilted soft nylon twill lining. Two molded alloy zipper pullers, injected rubber patch and a storage pocket on the rear outer panel round out this deliciously sophisticated sleeve.

Perfectly houses my new Samsung netbook
I bought this Slappa case for my new 10.1-inch Samsung netbook (N450). I was primarily looking for a sleeve that could fit inside tote bags, since I planned to carry my netbook, along with files and books, to the library or coffee shops to work. This case met all of my criteria.Pros:-Nicely padded with a water-resistant exterior.-Interior elastic straps hold computer in place, making it easy to just unzip, flip open the netbook, and begin working (without having to remove from the case).-Great color, but not overly flashy (important since I do a lot of work in public with my laptop).Cons:-A tad more bulky then traditional neoprene-type laptop sleeves.-Can be a bit of a struggle to zip sometimes. I'm hoping the case will stretch with use to better accomodate my netbook. It's not a perfect fit, but pretty close. I couldn't necessarily slip this into a medium-sized purse, but it's great in a tote bag or larger purse, and will provide good protection when traveling. The case is extremely well-made and seems quite durable. I have no doubt this will last for a long time. Highly recommended!

Great little netbook case
This is a great case for the 10" netbooks. But fyi, if you happen to own a Dell Mini, this will not fit your netbook--the computer is a little too thick at one end for this case, which is why I subtracted one star. Other netbooks that are the same 10.1" screen size fit this case just fine.

Bigger than Listed
Fits your iPad in a case plus more, like a notebook. The elastic bands kind of sucks but I've just stopped using them. It's just a great case to take your stuff in and out of, protects really well, and doesn't look half bad for the price.

Sleek, Durable and Lightweight Protection for Netbooks
I've owned this exact model since it was first introduced (12/09) and have taken it everywhere since. My Samsung NC10 travels upstate every weekend, out the door to work, and to Wifi coffee shops every day. Despite the time it spends in transit, my netbook has held up extremely well -- all thanks to the decalgirl skin and this all-important Slappa sleeve.First, the cosmetics. The top of the sleeve wears an understated collegiate crest logo in rubber with an Olde School S. I'm not a fan of logos, but I liked this one because it fairly screams Samsung Inside and looks more like a style accent than any kind of branding. The diamond weave outer nylon is tasteful and luxurious, and the inner lining is really nice. Certain of Slappa's sleeves were designed for different genders, but this one's unisex. The black is masculine without being exclusively so, and the textured surface is rugged: it won't make your laptop appear to be wearing lingerie.Second, durability and safety. The outer shell is hard, despite its texture and aesthetic, and offers enough protection for a short drop (though the shell does grow softer over time). The proximity of the outer zippers to the netbook concerned me at first, but after eight months, my NC10 hasn't got a scratch, and the case shows no signs of wear: No detached zipper pulls, frayed edges or worn-through internals. Other sleeves at this price point have worn through after months of constant use by me. This one hasn't and looks as if it won't.Third: Features and practicality. Two features I needed were straps to hold the netbook in place and the ability to actually use it while still strapped in. The sleeve offers both features. You have to lift the laptop slightly to plug in your wall charger, but your baby will remain tucked snugly into its baby seat. The case's one flaw is the width and position of the laptop-securing straps, which were probably chosen for the fifteen-inch version of this sleeve. On the one hand, there's no chance of your netbook slipping out and hitting the floor. On the other, the top straps obscure the corners of the screen. Not a problem when using Ubuntu, but good luck accessing the pull-down menus in Windows. My solution has been to undo the top right strap while working but leave the rest in place. So far, that's worked incredibly well.I have no complaints about the SL-NSV-101 in terms of price, durability and style. I'd prefer the straps to be thinner and closer to the edges, but I'd still buy this sleeve again.

Perfect for my Acer Aspire One
This sleeve is exactly what I was looking for: protective, chic, and convenient. It fits my 10" Acer Aspire One PERFECTLY! Literally, it fits loosely enough that it zips with no effort, but not so loosely that my netbook shifts around inside.Pros:-Ease. This sleeve's best feature is that it unzips all the way on three sides and can be left on my netbook vs. having to take it in and out when I want to use it.-Quality. The construction of this sleeve is great. Good materials and well built. It is so much better than the flimsy neoprene sleeves and will last much longer.-Design. It is cute without being so trendy that I'll need to replace it before I replace my computer. I like the raised Damask black on top of the iridescent white. It also provides improved grip and you are unlikely to drop it.-Secure. The elastic straps hold the computer in place nicely when it's open and make it easy to keep the cover in place when moving.Cons:-My only issue with this sleeve is that the elastic straps that hold the cover on the computer are too big for the size of the computer/sleeve. They block the screen in the upper corners and make it difficult to see the menu and Windows min/max/close icons.Another reviewer pointed this out and said it was because the elastic straps were designed for the larger version and just carried over to this smaller one. I find this to be a fairly significant design flaw. However, it didn't stop me from purchasing this, as I read about it before I bought it. The other pros outweighed this issue. I liked knowing about it ahead of time so that I could anticipate how to resolve the issue. The other reviewer said they just didn't use the upper right elastic strap. That does work pretty well, but I happened to have small elastic and needle and thread handy, so I just sewed on smaller elastic on the top of the sleeve and it works great. I don't love having to modify products in order to use them, but it was an easy fix.
