Perfect. Lasts hot for entire shabbat.

This is the second Classic Kitchen urn I have bought. I like it because it keeps the water hot and is easy to use. It came with an additional plastic insert for the spout in case the original one wears out. For traditional Jews, It has exact instructions about how to use it over Shabbat and holidays. Not the cheapest urn on the market but really worth the price because it works so well.

Good quality hot water heater for home or entertaining.

The plastic rim around the top disintegrated gradually. The inside of the cover did the same We were drinking black flecks of plastic.

The water is super hot which is nice. I did have an issue where the water tastes funky right out of the box after the initial rinse, but I was able to get through to the manufacturer who suggested i cut up a few lemons and have it boil for 24hrs and that got rid of the taste. UPDATE: I’ve had to do this every two weeks bc the ammonia taste comes back. It’s quite frustrating. I tried with filtered water a few times and nothing helps. Its probably a defective item and I will see if I can get it replaced.
