Very comfortable welder cap

Like the headline says, way thinner material than any of the many brands I've used over the 30 years of personal hobby/shop/farm welding I've done. I'm no fabric expert but it does not feel like 100% cotton. I do like the wide band where the panel seams do NOT go all the way down to the edge like all my other box store welding caps. Those give me headaches after wearing a hood for an hour or so. This one is nice and comfortable. Others state theirs are made in China, which I think most WN caps are, the one I received was made in Vietnam, if anyone cares. I sweat profusely and is the main reason I prefer the thicker caps, that and their ability to hold weld spatter just a little longer to cool it a little more before it hits my scalp. I'll update after some more use. So far, so good. Sizing was spot-on. I have a watermelon head at 7-3/4 inches and it fits perfectly.

Looks cool but literally see through.Don’t feel confident using for PPE. Disappointing for $40.
