I was prepared to be disappointed in this but boy was I wrong! There is a small learning curve but boy does this thing clean and work the gums, even on Soft. Some may prefer to support the base and guide the spray with the dominent hand. The main thing is that the head doesnt easily rotate in the mouth and that is exactly what you want so YOU can direct the spray. I just load it through the port, and put the tip in your mouth and hit the on button. Battery charge lasts for ever. Even if this only lasts 6 months, it is well worth the price. I am buying a spare.

I really like this thing! I use it in the shower bc I feel like the water does go everywhere when in use. But I do love it compared to regular flossing. Especially with mouthwash in replacement of water. I do wish there was an even softer setting than it comes with, but I know I’m sensitive.

I like the variety of settings and the portability of the device.

The plastic water reservoir has some spaces at the top that are so narrow that water cannot escape. Therefore, it won't dry, and it will mold. I have had my tank dumped out and drying for 4 days, and there's still water stuck in those crevices. Otherwise, it seems to work well, but that's a fatal flaw that I'm going to have to give one star for.

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this as an update to my existing unit. I appreciate fully the fact that I can adjust the water pressure on the device with a press of a button. It provides me with choices to find my comfort level.It has 4 modes to choose from and is customizable for a 5th. I like to interchange from soft mode to the pulsing mode. The unit functions very well and has a auto shut off after 2 minutes, which I find to be an ample amount of time .Another great addition is that I have the choice to save my settings for the next use. The unit has memory mode function which automatically memorizes how I used the unit before. The fluid tank offers an ample amount of space, but the products literature does state that it is not recommended to use mouth wash in the tank as it might corrode the unit. This is a negative for me as like to use a mouthwash when flossing.The tank can be accessed 2 ways, by removal or by the small access flip cover ( pictured ) .The unit is charged via a USB type c charger that is included . This can be great when traveling with the unit but since I use mine in the bathroom and like to leave it on my counter I have to use an adapter to accommodate the usb into a regular wall plug. Initially It took approximately 3.5 hours to fully charge the device. A dentist once told me to only brush & floss the teeth I want to keep. I was amused but have always been faithful to my daily routine and technology has certainly changed!So, here the positives:1) This unit has four power modes – three preset and one custom that allows you to adjust the water pressure to your preferred minimum – maximum range {20 – 140 psi}.2) The unit includes five tips – two are the same + three others.3) The tank holds 300 ml of water and having shopped these for a while, many are smaller so it’s decent capacity.4) It comes with a well-written instruction manual that is quite comprehensive and yet lacking at the same time (I’ll go into that in more detail below).A few areas for improvement:1) The power mode options are great because not everyone has the same oral health and this aims to accommodate most. However, it’s very awkward to adjust when the irrigator is turned on because of the way the control panel is oriented in the handle. Be prepared to get soaked while you’re mastering how to use this. I had water everywhere – on the vanity, mirror and down the front of me. It was funny, I won’t lie! It took some practice & finesse to get the hang of it. Fortunately, when you find the setting you like, the device remembers and next time you use it, will automatically start there.2) Having interchangeable tips is a great idea but I have two criticisms about this. First, the bathroom is full of germs so a tip cover should be included with each tip to minimize the exposure to germs. Since it’s portable, if you travel with it, wouldn’t you want the tips covered? I would! They can be stored in a zip pouch or plastic bag but a little cap on each would be an improvement.The other thing about the tips is although there are four different styles, they don’t include any guidance on when to use each. I checked the instruction manual and listing but found nothing about this. I will have to look at other listings to see if they go into detail about the various tips. So far, I’ve only used the basic tip and it’s been great.3) The instruction manual is quite comprehensive. In fact, I was thinking I would use mouthwash instead of water to maximize the benefits. The manual specifically states do NOT use mouthwash despite the fact that the listing contradicts the manual under “TIPS”. For me, warm tap water is very comfortable rather than cold but that’s personal preference. Besides, given the flow rate, it would be easy to go through a bottle of mouthwash pretty quickly!4) The device is a comfortable weight even when the tank has 300 ml of water however, at the rate the water comes shooting out, I can’t make the full rotation of upper/lower & inner/outer surfaces of my teeth. I have to fill it twice to clean them all. Not a big deal but if the tank was a little bigger, perhaps the process could be completed in one rotation. But that’s not a deal breaker for me because I’ll always go back and work on trouble spots anyway.Overall, I think this irrigator is an excellent device. Are there things I would change about it – yes, of course but that’s just me. The device is rechargeable and comes with a USB cable with Type-C connector (the charging block is NOT included). I would highly recommend it. It's worthy of 4.5 stars but since that's not an option, I'm giving them five stars because after only one use, I could see & feel the difference and my teeth feel even cleaner after repeated use.
