This shelf is very good, my son is an avid reader and collector, and ran out of room on his 2 smaller shelves. I was looking at adding another matching shelf from that furniture store everyone knows... But thought if I can find an L shaped shelf that fits, there'd be more storage space yet! This is massive. As in very tall. I'm 6 foot and reach up to the top shelf. The instructions could be a little more clear, just make sure and double check the hole orientation on your parts/ center holes for the cross members... Or you may have to take some thing's apart to fix your mistake. One hole wasn't fully tapped right, As in the screw wouldn't go in the hole, but that was remedied by pressing very hard while pushing it in. In. Once he got past the resistance then you were good to go. My son son put this together all by himself, and it's a great addition to his smaller room.
