Kaffree Roma - Plant-Based - Original (7 oz.) (Pack of 3) - Non-GMO

This is a great coffee alternative. It has a rich flavor. I drink it every day. My effort to limit my coffee/caffeine consumption to one morning cup has improved my sleep. I drink Kaffree the rest of the day. 💕 Love it.

Great coffee taste without the caffeine

I absolutely love this stuff … I don’t drink coffee, but I like coffee, and this is a very good substitute. It also dissolves in cold water or milk if you want to make a cool beverage, so, it is convenient like that.

Tastes just like Coffee. Better than Postum and Pero. Unfortunately, the price keeps going up. But I'll continue to purchase it. It was excellently packaged, quick shipping.

PRO: I searched Amazon for a coffee substitute, so read all the comments on the ones I found. Also, I noticed that although there were several different brands, made in several different countries, and with various blends of different roasted vegetable ingredients, almost all were packed in 7oz jars, and they all cost about $10-12/7oz. I settled on this brand, "Caffree", (which the jar stated was made in Portugal), because of the reviewers' remarks about robust flavor. I did find this product to have a robust flavor when used as follows: 1 heaping teaspoon/8oz cup of hot water. The price is slightly cheaper when purchased in a group of 3 jars. CON: After the bottle is opened, I advise transffering the contents to a small, mason jar with screwcapped lid. The cap of the jar is strangely (and stupidly) made. the actual lid, with threads, is weak in grip due to it being made of rather thin and flexible plastic, exceedingly shallow in depth, and with vertical gaps. This poorly designed lid is integrally formed with a type of rather flexible umbrella, shaped to match the somewhat rectangular bottle. This bottle top results in having to squeeze the flexible outer top in order to grip the weak inner cap and twist the top off. The top comes off and is put on, much too easily to have any confidence in complete closure.

Delicious. Nice robust flavor. Just slightly bitter like regular coffee. I would highly recommend it.
